@TheLongboardLife14 im pretty shur wat they r, r where the rails of your board sanded or formd at a slanted(outward) angle instead of just being round so if you have your heels really far back, the dont slip on the rounded edges they stay in place on the slanted edge.

@TheLongboardLife14 they are sanded rails that form almost another little foot platform for your feet for extra grip. just google landyachtz 925 gas pedals and youll know what im tlking about. they just give you extra grip on tight turns and slides
