Pegg will forever be a legend in my eyes after spaced but run fat boy run was disapointing & How to alienate people- was Bridgette jones Diary with simon pegg instead. He needs to make a good movie soon otherwise I will lose faith. I'm sure when he's back with Edgar Wright/Nick Frost they will sort it out!

@IAmDeathknight My point exactly...he's a natural...Hollywood is shit, and most of the movies stun, daze and confuse the audiences with FX to decoy away from the story...of which most have none...most of the dribble coming out of Hollywood should be on network TV. The movies he has been in have been great, and there are so few great actors coming up...in my book, he has taken his place among the greats just with the little he's done. I agree, I'd like to see him back with his homey too.

@Mortaryan I agree completely the status quo has changed from good raw stories and characters to impressing the audience with as much special effects as possible. The only person who did a great job with a solid balance of effects and story which is Nolan for Inception. Nolan actually said he wanted to use the least amount of special effects as possible. So when the guy from 10 things don't feel like looking up his name lol is floating around in no gravity those are rotating rooms. Not FX

I am an indi feature film maker, so I have no choice but to rely on story and characters (though the technology is getting more affordable by the day)...I hope if I achieve even moderate commercial "success" (one day?) I always keep to my hungry-day foundation, and the rest just becomes icing for my audience.
