  • oh god I would've loved to see more spaced

  • Simon Pegg is the face of modern humor. same with Edgar Wright & Nick Frost

  • Simon is amazing, but when Nick is involved it's magic. Spaced and Hot Fuzz are so perfect.

  • He is a Fucking Legend!!!

  • oh yes....cookie :)

  • Gimme more motherfukin zombie movies.... with simon and Nick

  • i chould have a convo with simon pegg for week on end lol also i want him to make shaun of the dead 2 i watched shaun of the dead 2 times a day for the last 7 weeks n for thoses who think im sad yer its kinda but i see things in the movie that most people dont a hell of a lot of thing 2 like a lawn mover with no one pushing it

  • @AnarchistDictator =sfSndZPynQk

  • What a sellout!

  • Love Simon Pegg.

I hope he makes a Spaced movie or a third series someday... But i doubt it. ;)

  • A great actor, A Writer, Producer, Director, Comedian. He wants more Office and he is a good friend of Chris Martin. Can it be better?!

    Great guy!

  • 1:28 he's giving him the finger :)

  • glad he included steve in the ricky bit of the office. steve usually gets shafted. respect to pegg (y).

  • it's true! Pegg liked S club 7 before anyone else

  • Simon looked like he was doing the LONGEST INTERVIEW EVER! I've seen him do other interviews before, and he always seemed to be having a good time, but this guy just bored him to tears! (Me too, btw!)

  • that interviewer is more wooden than a timber factory.

  • He seems like a nice guy.Like it when he calls his fans friends, good attitude.

  • he went to my university :)

  • God, his voice ... If I ever met him I would just hug him. Or die on the spot.

  • I agree so hard with you Bethster7 XD

  • @Bethster7 I know...if they ever sold audiobooks read by Simon Pegg, anything, even if the words don't make sense I would still buy them just so I can listen to his voice :))

  • @whywhywhymaki You should get the Nerd Do Well audiobook... I promise its everything "Pegg" you ever dreamed of... AND its hilarious of course...

  • Pegg will forever be a legend in my eyes after spaced but run fat boy run was disapointing & How to alienate people- was Bridgette jones Diary with simon pegg instead. He needs to make a good movie soon otherwise I will lose faith. I'm sure when he's back with Edgar Wright/Nick Frost they will sort it out!

  • Check out "Paul" to be released in 2010.

  • Thanks for the heads up. I will look forward to it. It would take a pretty long run of really bad movies for me to give up on the pegg-ster. I'm no where near that....

  • bingstar316 He can't ALWAYS be in movies/series directed by Edgar Wright... I liked Run Fatboy Run.... And I enjoyed How To Lose Friends and Alienate People simply because Simon was in it.. I think it's ok that he's acting in other movies, though I love Edger Wright's stuff to death

  • @Sukriti Dude its got nothing to do with the fact he has'nt been working with Edgar Wright or Nick Frost. I dont care who he works with just as long as its funny. Unlike Run fat boy run (unfunny) & how to alienate people (really unfunny- bridget jones, but with simon pegg). I love the peggster & I know hes capable of so much more than the those 2 movies. I still need to check out the big nothing though....

  • Haven't seen Big Nothing yet...

How To--- was pretty forgettable except for when he sings the "England" song XD

Yeah but still, his funniest stuff to date has been when he was working with Edgar or Nick...

  • the big nothing is funnyy but pretty weird

    a lot of black humour

  • I'm gonna watch it soon,.. just because Simon is in it... cuz even if he's involved with a mediocre project, he makes it ten times better by just being there...

thanks! haha I don't mind weird things... I watched all the episodes of Asylum XD

  • @bingstar316 i actually liked run fat boy run :3

  • @bingstar316 Thus, PAUL was created.

  • Simon is really cute.

  • I have always held a lot of respect for Simon Pegg, and after watching Star Trek and listening to him talk about how he approached the character - I must say he's one of the most well-rounded gentlemen in Hollywood.

  • That's because he's a Brit!! :D

  • He doesn't represent all Brits. There are stupid people EVERYWHERE. Including Britain.

  • Lol sadly not everyone here is as well-mannered as simon.

  • i choked on my water when i heard him say homies.

then i laughed like an idiot for a good while and realized how notthatfunny it was.

But still, it always cracks me up to hear people say things you dont expect them to. its like the entire last season of dancing with the stars when that british announcer voice guy said "lil kim" every episode and it sounded so odd.

  • It's weird hearing Simon Pegg chatting in such an articulate and serious way. Because Tim from Spaced was such a natural character, you always assume that he has a similar to Simon Pegg. A great comedy genius nevertheless.

  • La Triviata NEEDS to happen.....

  • Spaced is the best thing he's done!

  • star trek was awesome!!!

  • It was great but it's still all about Spaced for me! He'd doing Tin Tin with Spielberg and Nick Frost soon isn't he. That'll probably be good as well.

  • Spaced was great but Pegg and Mark Heap in Big Train were awesome. Different form of comedy, though.

  • @Carter22 Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead were fantastic too! But yeah, I was really sad when i finished watching the last episode of Spaced....

  • his voice for Buckminster in ice age 3 its AWESOME

  • SPACED was the best comedy he acted in, was so brilliant!

  • Actually, there are tonnes of great British comedies that hardly even finish one series: Brass Eye, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Nathan Barley...

  • shaun of the dead was best then hot fuzz. simon pegg rocks

  • how to lose friends was shit... im never going to get that time back watching it and have tried to erase it from my mind! whats worse is that it was rented and i forgot to take it back so got charged £7... gutted

  • I bet it was- i think the general rule with Simon Pegg is, if he didnt have a hand in writing it, skip it- his humour and acting style works best with his on material, which is often better than anyone elses stuff anyway..

  • in comedy terms, anyways.

    star trek was good :)

  • Love

  • SIMON PEGG IS THE MAN!!!

  • Damn skippy he's the man xD

  • @InGodshands7 why thank you

  • he is my favorite actor/comedian/zombie killer my other favoirte actors have to be nick frost and kevin smith

  • He's pure excellence.

  • true

  • SIMON RULES

  • yea!

  • If any of you can get it watch SPACED channel 4 series uk, this is where simon pegg really blossomed, also BIG TRAIN which was a uk quick sketch tv show. But SPACED is full of movie and video games tributes stitched into it lol.

  • Spaced is incredible and Big Train is just classic.

  • Is there any way to see it in america other than the internet? I'm pretty sure that you cant import it. I saw the first episode as well as Shaun and Hot Fuzz, and i'm hooked. Please!

  • if you want it on dvd try ebay? if you get a region 0 version i think they play on all dvds worldwide? Even trying to get full episodes on the internet is a hassle, if i come across any other ways of seeing it i will message you.

  • You should be able to buy Spaced on dvd in most stores. A bit pricey i think, but obviously well worth it!

  • Lol... yeah, the "betrayal" will probably won't be forgotten, since he's massive, huge, and most sane people can't get enough of him.

  • 2xlol

    t'was a joke...crikey

  • Didn't realise he'd 'broke' america

    england ftw ;o

  • Brilliant Actor!

The line up of Movies he has appeared in is amazing, I can't wait to see what he does in the future.

Big fan...one of the greats of our time.

  • @Mortaryan what are u kidding!? he hasnt been in n many movies at all! and only

    4-5 main roles!

It makes me sad that he is so underestimated by hollywood.... but the british stuff he made is great tho.... but i wish he'd make more movies with nick frost, since they are a legendary duo

  • @IAmDeathknight My point exactly...he's a natural...Hollywood is shit, and most of the movies stun, daze and confuse the audiences with FX to decoy away from the story...of which most have none...most of the dribble coming out of Hollywood should be on network TV. The movies he has been in have been great, and there are so few great actors coming up...in my book, he has taken his place among the greats just with the little he's done. I agree, I'd like to see him back with his homey too.

  • @Mortaryan I agree completely the status quo has changed from good raw stories and characters to impressing the audience with as much special effects as possible. The only person who did a great job with a solid balance of effects and story which is Nolan for Inception. Nolan actually said he wanted to use the least amount of special effects as possible. So when the guy from 10 things don't feel like looking up his name lol is floating around in no gravity those are rotating rooms. Not FX

  • @rockstar777ryan Yeah, from everything I've heard I can't wait to see Inception. I hope I am not pumping it up so the best I will get out of it is mediocrity. I am an indi feature film maker, so I have no choice but to rely on story and characters (though the technology is getting more affordable by the day)...I hope if I achieve even moderate commercial "success" (one day?) I always keep to my hungry-day foundation, and the rest just becomes icing for my audience.

  • @Mortaryan Oh, I know! I personally can't wait to see something about Paul and Burke and Hare, whether it be trailer, or anything.

I would love to see a trailer for Paul, and Burke and Hare's concept just sounds awesome.

  • why does every one call it a parody? or spoof? dipshits

  • Yea, I'm from Baltimore :D

  • you cant really be a zombie "killer"

  • more a zombie "slayer"

  • I see what you mean.

How about 'Zombie Controller'? Or 'Zombie Manager' perhaps?

  • EEEEEE hes so cool, if I ever meet him I'd wet my pants XD HAHA.

  • I LOVE SIMON PEGG X

  • Simon Pegg who stars in the new Comedy, Star Trek.

  • i would eat his wife ;)

  • agreed

  • I adore Simon. I wish I had a chance to meet him, seriously.

  • One of my best friends did meet him, and hugged him :D

  • i really wanted paul mcgillion for the part of scotty...but if it had to be anyone else im glad its simon he'll do a great job.

    <3

  • every thing he does is awsome

  • heehee, I like his voice :p

  • I hope he goes back to TV... I really do. La Triviata always sounded promising and I'd love to see 'the gang' of Pegg, Hynes, Frost and Wright back together! :)

  • seems like a class act

  • Simon Pegg as Montgomery Scott? Now that WILL be interesting, because in a way the character Scotty has got a funny as sense of humour, so Pegg should tap into that perfectly :)

  • Edit: I do think he'll make a great Scotty, though.

  • WTF are you on about? The man's never directed a thing in his life. If you're gonna talk like a retard you might as well know what you're talking about.

  • Wow, are you misinformed...

He did Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Spaced.

There were camera directors in those, but rest assured Simon was at the helm for all three.

  • Kinda hard to be the camera director when you're in all the shots...

  • You're wrong, Edgar Wright directed all of those productions.

  • I disagree.

I fairly certain that he was only a camera director.

  • There's no such thing as a "camera director." There is director, camera operator and director of photography. Simon Pegg has never been any of those. Edgar Wright directed Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Spaced. Whether or not you disagree is irrelevant, Simon Pegg is not the director, Wright is.

  • Fradonot is correct. Pegg is a comedic actor and a hell of a good comedy writer.

  • He is a writer. I think Edgar Wright directed Spaced, Hot Fuzz, and Shawn of the Dead.

  • You're confusing writing with directing, in those movies you cited.

  • thumb down a fact, okkkkaaay?

  • I'm very sorry to point this out and please don't hound me as if I've insulted you but as a British Pegg fan, he has never directed... he's an actor and a writer. Edgar Wright directed all his A-list material. Chill out man, let him do his stuff.

  • i'm glad he came across the waters. I love this guy!

  • this guy is so funny i love him i want to meat him so bad.....

  • I didn't think he came off as grumpy at all. Is it just me or does his face look especially cute here.

  • when he interviews hes so serous but when u see his blogs with nick frost hes like a big kid hes so funny

  • No doubt it was one of many interviews he had to do that day. Even i'd be fecked! lol

  • I didn't think he came off that way...just as a normal guy who takes his craft seriously. Funny people aren't funny 24/7.

  • Ya I think that too! I think TIME gives him little scripts to make him sound like he is actually more serious than in the films he stars in. Than again...TIME surely makes people feel more and more "bored" if you will-so ya thats my opinion.
