  • The problem in this song is not much of the Vocal, as it is the instrumentality behind the main part of this song: The chorus. Ignore the guitar doing the vocal and focus on the rest. Then compare it to the original.

Though I have to admit... The guitar doesn't do that much justice to the voice. Nevertheless, it sounds better ingame.

  • Grr, stupid link isn't working. But go to Gundam.wikia.com and look up Newtype (SEED), and you'll see how wrong you are.

  • @Neremworld

What I don't get is that this is a video Gundam 00 song in a game where SEED and UC are pretty much watching from the sidelines. I understand people like SEED, but people would probably be less apt to attack your like of SEED if it weren't rabidly spreading onto unrelated videos.

In other news, I like both versions equally. I feel the chorus might have lost a bit, but the rest has a really nice feel to it.

  • @SirFuzzi No one actually attacked my "like of SEED". ?_? I was just arguing with someone about whether Newtypes exist in SEED or not did you even read anything in the comments? Also I was not the one who brought up SEED. So uh... yeah.

  • What didn't do justice with this BGM is its sound that replaced the vocal, it's just not right.

  • I was kind of disappointed not seeing Ash Like Snow in this one, but this version's alright enough to suffice.

  • @DarthSkittle88 dont worry SRWZ2 has a part 2. they might put that music

  • ... Who else besides myself wants that Z2 part 2 has Trans-Am Raiser as a new theme?

  • I actually quite like this version of Daybreak's Bell, though I can see how it could get repetitive after a while.

  • This song isn't the right one for the 00 units, sure its better than Power or Counterattack but those would have fit perfectly.

Also, the psp limited audio can't handle this song xd.

  • @Ifyouneedinstruction Maybe BP thought Power was overused. who knows

  • is Counterattack in the game?

  • @KogashiwaKai Apparently, the only other 00 song is Fight.

  • @SearchBomber well that sucks

Trinity Siblings dont even get their theme

  • Well...that sucks. They better put Saji Crossroads in a gundam then! Or I'll never forgive the game designers for not addin more songs.

  • @Hakkun9872 This game only has the first season, so no, isn't. Part 2 will have the second season.

  • Okay, now I'm disappointed. But at least there's the promise of a SRW Z3 with that next season. Yeah! I WANT ZEORYMER BACK IN Z3!:D

  • @Hakkun9872 Hey Hey Hey , Z2 is not even finished yet and you want Z3 ? This is only the 1st part of Z2 my friend .

  • @Hakkun9872 Saji Crossroad being put in a Gundam was one of the worst things that happened to 00. The show lost its only independent observer, which was one of the few interesting things ABOUT 00. I'm not dissing the combat or anything (which is easily some of the best mobile suit combat ever, especially in some of the S2 duels. But the best parts of S1 were largely seeing Saji and Louise, two characters completely uninvolved, being affected by the militant posturing of the various groups.

  • I'm not sure about that. It was good to see Saji actually doing something more than just being on the sidelines. I will say that I hated how he was a sub-pilot and not a real pilot. And that naked thing with him and Louise meeting again in space? I thought we saw the last of that in Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny. Guess not. At least in Gundam SEED it was expected. Cause they showed it in most of their openings and endings.

  • @ArmageddonV2 The "naked in space" was at least justified in 00, if only by crazy GN telepathy. SEED didn't even HAVE psychics, and Kira STILL talks to the dead.

And as for Saji, that's what I MEAN x) The thing that was good about was that he WAS on the sidelines. He was the objective viewpoint, the innocent bystander who showed firsthand what all the bull either side pulled was actually achieving. I guess it was nice letting him blow some stuff to relieve all that frustration though.

  • @ArmageddonV2 You be hilariously wrong. Kira, Mu, Rau, and Rey are all Newtypes. Rau and Mu were naturally born ones. Kira is implied to have some of Mu/Rau's DNA in him, hence why he reacts so strongly to Rau and Rey psychically.

  • @Neremworld theres no newtype in CE universe

  • @jason271828 Except for the fact that they are. They just aren't called it (like Gundams aren't called Gundam in-story) but when you Newtype Flash, and have the exact same attributes as Newtypes (except it's referred to as "enhanced spatial awareness"), then you're a Newtype.

  • @Neremworld It's funny how you said other people are "hilariously wrong" when you are the one who's "hilariously wrong". Coordinators are genitically modified. Newtypes appeared because the blood flow to the brian increased and developed their brain. Do you even watch Gundam? And yes, they do call Gundams Gundams in the show. Those type of people in seed are called coordinator. I did'nt say too much in my first comment just to let you get away with it. But now you ask for it.

  • @jason271828 You're not paying attention to what I said. You can be both a Coordinator and a Newtype. For example, Mu and Rau are listed as Newtypes in several Gundam Generation. Kira generally isn't, but that's because most of them were made before it was made absolutely explicit. Plus, it was the same thing as the Coordinator skill, which was needed to pilot Coordinator units. Kira even explicitly has an Amuro-As-A-Newtype moment in SEED Destiny, where he unleashes the DRAGOONs and (cont)

  • @Neremworld shouts "Strike them!" ... and then he has a NEWTYPE FLASH, complete with the sound and the little lightning flash. And he constantly has a Newtype connection to Rau and Rey, which is likely where he got his Newtype abilities from.

Considering that Artifical Newtypes (AKA Cyber Newtypes) were absolutely possible in UC Gundam, you don't think a setting with a great deal more knowledge of biology and genetics pass on Newtypes powers, which are shown to be genetic in UC Gundam?

  • @Neremworld Coordinators aren`t naturally humans .......... Newtypes are naturally born humans ......... you can`t be both . And Kira Yamato is an ultimate coordinator and also has some of Mwu`s genes . I agree with jason , its funny how you think people are hilariously wrong .

  • @ZapZephyrX You're KIDDING me, right? Coordinators are "naturally humans". They are. Almost all are naturally born! And just because you're born in an artificial womb does not mean you're not human. The Blue Cosmos are wrong, that's a huge message of SEED.

Also you're completely forgetting the existence of artificial Newtypes, who aren't "naturally born" and in many times are altered humans... just... like... Coordinators. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

  • @Neremworld And your trying to bring UC topics over to CE , yeah very smart .

  • @ZapZephyrX Well uh if that's the case then CE has never ever said you can't be a Coordinator and a Newtype, considering the PRIME EXAMPLE of a Newtype in CE? Is a Coordinator. (Rau Le Creuset) So uh, I think you just ruined your entire specious argument.

  • @Neremworld No worries I dont really mind . But well .... the only problem is , people won`t be convinced by this since the word *Newtype* was never mentioned in SEED .

  • @ZapZephyrX That's okay. The term "Gundam" was never used as an official name for any Gundam ever in SEED. It literally only comes up as a nickname Kira comes up with from the OS name of the Strike. Like Newtype, it's not an official term in SEED one bit, due to the difference in setting and culture.

  • @Neremworld Though , since when the term *Gundam* was ever used as an official name besides the OYW ? I recall all the other series and most of them use names like ITS THE ZZ ITS THE ZETA GUNDAM ITS THE ( insert random gundam name here ) .

  • @ZapZephyrX In... pretty much all series. The term Gundam is important in most of them and is an explicit identifier of a different sort of unit then a normal MS. For example. The famous "IT'S A GUNDAM!" in Wing. And also "I love you, Gundam!" in 00, and Corin's "GUNDAM?!" in Turn A (as well as the later importance of the term). In X it's not quite an important term due to Newtype being the biggest word, but it's still used as an official term. And G Gundam is uh... GUNDAM FIGHT.

  • @ZapZephyrX Also for Zeta/ETC... Gundam Mk. II, Super Gundam. nu Gundam. They are explicitly referred to as Gundams. Also in Victory, we have "GUNDAM.. FULL POWER!!" While they often shortened it to just the identifier name, they're still referred to openly as Gundams.

  • @Neremworld Well , diffrent series . Diffrent stuff .

  • @ZapZephyrX Exactly. SEED's 'stuff' is that while it uses the concepts known as Gundam and Newtype, it never makes them official lexicon. The word Gundam isn't spoken after midway through SEED because it was primarily Kira's nickname for the Strike. Which is officially termed a G-Unit MS, though all latter "gundams" are just plain MS. The term Newtype is never spoken as their existence is relegated to a man, and Coordinators using his DNA and their abilities are unknown to almost all

  • @Neremworld They still say Gundam though haha .

  • @ZapZephyrX If this is your argument, then you should be able to flat-out accept Newtypes, as while they never say the word, they do everything BUT say the word (and in interviews with the staff and creators they DO call them Newtypes).

  • Comment removed

  • @Neremworld PS , if the staff says so . Then i`ll just leave it at that . Seriously , SEED is quite complicated .

  • @SearchBomber speaking of which will you be uploading fight
