Cool.hey nice vid ummm... Where us that cliff at, sence I've skied black hole and I'm ten and I like cliffs and especially the big one of of black bear so please where is the cliff?
just did black hole yesterday. what people say about it is true. scary with a whole lotta drops. fell good tht i did it tho. if ur a good skier or rider, deffinately try it.
Robin's run looks SO fun, but people say it's really hard... What's so hard about it? Cliffs? Trees? Or is it just steep like freefall? I know it's only ever open after a snowstorm which is somewhat concerning... What's the reason for the extra diamond?
is it ok to do the black hole on your own or should u always do it with someone ( i really want to do it but i cant find anyone ) please just comment the answer on this plzzzz
@funnyboy131 I haven't done the black hole yet, but maybe when I go next year I will attempt it. I always use the rule of having at least two companions when skiing in the woods -- especially on a trail as difficult as the black hole. I heard that Smuggs offers guides to people who want to do it but I am not sure about that.
The Black Hole has multiple drops of an average of six to eight feet. The trail’s pitch is similar to Freefall and The Madonna Liftline as it’s sandwiched between the two.
i wanna go to a place like this so badly i can only go to places in pennsylvannia cuz my parents dont ski or snowboard and they wouldnt take me far to ski
completely agree with onojmai like he said smuggs can beat out anywhere you just gotta know where to go in smuggs this place is awsome it might not have the best terrain parks like they do out west but when it comes to back country and trails smuggs is awsome
This video was shot with a helmet cam. And don't forget, good technique dictates we all keep our head trained on our line regardless of whether or not we're equipped with a helmet cam.
smuggs can beat out anywhere, even out west, with that kinda snow as far as fun goes.
black hole- steep trees, but nothing ya can't handle. they're many more difficult, deeper, demanding spots at smuggs than the black hole if you know where to go.
Yeah i have always been wondering that too, ive asked my friend who has been on it because his family went there but he a pro skier pretty much (hes 13)....he said it wasnt hard but i cant get a good answer coming from him
