It's amazing how the low tech Embassy Television logo is still better than the painfully common Sony Pictures Television logo (which isn't a bad logo, but is painfully common).
On Silver Spoons, yes. Lightkeeper Productions was an in-credit name and that was on Silver Spoons until 1985 when that show became solely Embassy Television (later Embassy Communications during its 5th and final season).
They preserve some, not all. At LEAST you get to see those by Embassy Television, Merv Griffin, Chuck Barris, Screen Gems, and others. But CPT and TriStar?? Not likely.
Well actually, Shadeed, Sometimes(Not too often, but not too rare, either) SPT will actually preserve some old CPT and TriStar TV logos. Especially on TV Land where I've seen the 1987 CPT logo and the 1992 TriStar TV logo left intact, and what's even better about it is that when i DID see them, the SPT logo DIDN'T appear after!(And that wasn't just once that's happened, about 3 or 4 times that I've seen that happen.)
and in most cases when Sony does preserve CPT and/or Tristar logos, most times they play the ones w/ Sony's own byline. But there were some instances where Sony did play pre-1992 CPT logos. On local reruns of Barney Miller, they layed the CPT Sunburst (abridged) after the 4D Productions. With local reruns of That's My Mama!, they plastered the original CPT Pretzel w/ the 1st version of the CPT Torch Lady from 1982, and on local reruns of Hart 2 Hart, CPT '82 popped up a few times as well.

I was surprised to see the Embassy logo at the end of the credits since Sony is NOT known for preserving logos at all!
