Look great but 5'4 is a setback. I respect you for the time you've put into you're physique but way to short. Not hating but a 5'4 kid with 16in arms is easier to obtain then a 6'0 with 14in arms. (Speaking in terms of small bone structure).If i were you i would bulk till 160 then go real lean.

@Mikkedev my main carbs are oatmeal, wheat bread, all grains, sweet potatoes, (white rice for only post-workout) and fruits. Proteins sources are chicken breast, lean meats, cottage cheese, tuna... Healthy fats are all natural peanut/almond butter, nuts...
And to be honest, i only do cardio once per week, lol... but i do 4-6 weight training sessions per week.. I'm tryna bulk up so yeah :)

@MacPr0xnxx0 i dont really call it diet. I just called it a healthy eating. i eat 6-7 times a day with all the healthy food that contains complex carbs, proteins and healthy fats. (my favorite are oatmeal, grilled chicken breast, all natural peanut butter and fat free cottage cheese)
as for my workout routine. Right now, im doing a 3 days on (Heavy day), 1 off (Rest day), 3 day (Light/medium day) on routine. Also, i do cardio about 2 times a week now.

@khoibeast I say your "normal" nutrition seems to be good already. But if you have a fast metabolism don't eat to often except before and after training (4-5h is healthier in terms of time), but eat bigger meals (at once 1000+ kcal). You body either digest in your stomach or puts these nutrients into blood and cells. Eating to often steals your body time to regenerate.
And never listen to the propaganda of the supplement industry and their promoises. Look up your facts and ingredients in e.g. wikipedia. Reading your comments - not to give you a secret but Glutamine is a protein and BCAA are 3 important proteins you can find with the others in every protein-food. Amino-tabs, BCAA-taps.. and to seprate all these stuff in single producst just makes them rich, not more.
Don't just use Whey, simply use a 3k-Protein (just Whey (short), Casein (long) , Egg (less water in skin) - not more) - and to come to weight gainers, they should also contain these 3 protein-sources, but most important not sugar. If sugar is not separately decelerated then the gainer contains certainly much sugar. Cytogainer has to much sugar, thinking of me as hardgainer eating 3000-4000kcal a day just holding the weight and preventing diseases like diabetes in a few years.
@khoibeast First of all I must correct myself: Glutamine and BCAA's are amino acids, of course. there are 20 for use in lifeforms, proteins are build up of amino acids. but that I'm sure you already now. Don't understand the run on Whey and just Whey. It's finally just Whey (a part of milk), Every protein has Glutmaine, the 3 BCAA's and the other amino acids. So you don't just Whey Protein to get it. And every Whey Protein is statistically the same.
isolate and hdyroisolated has less water in its powder form than normal but under the line its the same and not better no company can have a better one, its just marketing and hearsaying.
Your body is not stupid. just let it do the work, eat normal food protein, and to get more into bodybuilding an competition eat quark, low fat fish, chicken, egg, bananas (potassium, calories), only good fats like you already do and to make that lifestyle easier;-) supplement a 3-Components-Protein as i said (it has whey + other protein sources). Save your money and DON'T buy all ingredients as separately product. You don't need a Whey only product.
By the way its a myth that your body can run low on amio acids and that, they say, is the reason you must eat (fast) Whey protein. Your body is not stupid. Whey-Protein sources still need 30 min 2. You will never run low on Amino acids in your blodd jsut because you didn't ate protein just fast enough after training.
Just eat and especially the casein protein source of your (3-components-protein) gives you enough protein and time to sleep and regerate without think of runnung low on anything ;-)
@athleticnakmuay yeah, since im unable to buy casein, right now, 1 hour or 1 hour and a half before bed, i would eat some fat free cottage cheese, one scoop of all natural peanut butter and some lean meats. Mostly all proteins, some fat, and little carbs

I would cut the all natural peanut butter (no salt, no palm oil(trans fat)) before bed. Last "big" carb meal 2h before bed. fat free cottage cheese, eggs+spinach, tuna (low but essential fatty acids) + rotating a bit or similar proteins directly before bed (<1/2hour)
@athleticnakmuay well, at around 6 pm, i would have my 6th meal with oatmeal, chicken breast. Then about 2.5 hours later, i would eat my last meal with cottage cheese, either some tuna or some eggwhites, and 1 spoon of all natural peanut butter which helps to slow down the digestion. i tried to have low or no carbs for my last meal before bed :) This works great to me.
@khoibeast Because of what peanut butter should slow down the digestion??? "no carbs" already slows it down. Casein either way stays 6-7h in stomach. Don't be frighten to use the hole egg.
I self searched long, their still aren't enough good weight gainers with low sugar, so I first of all look for a good nutrition with real food, but some like "Muscle Juice Revolution 2600" or "Serious Mass" are low on sugar. Low sugar (news: body stores it as fat) means lean mass gain by the way.
Nice, great proportions, I'm 5'8 and have a body type kind of like yours, btw, what is your BF %? I'm guessin somewhere along the lines of 7% to 8% BF. I'm somewhere round 10-12% BF right now. Great work, and keep at it. Plus if you want some quick gains, are you on any type of whey protein? If not, you should get some, you'll grow quick!

I don't about bodybuidling competitions, but to me you have both size and definition. So if there's a category appropriate for your size there's no reason not to try.

sick physique buddy! i'm 5'7" and weight about 145lbs. I got good muscle tone, but wanna just get really ripped up and add muscle mass to my chest and back. Do you have a workout routine i can download or you can email me? I'm not a gym rat, but would like to get the most of my workouts while there since i work 60+ hours a week. thanks!

@Mikkedev my main carbs are oatmeal, wheat bread, all grains, sweet potatoes, (white rice for only post-workout) and fruits. Proteins sources are chicken breast, lean meats, cottage cheese, tuna... Healthy fats are all natural peanut/almond butter, nuts...
And to be honest, i only do cardio once per week, lol... but i do 4-6 weight training sessions per week.. I'm tryna bulk up so yeah :)

@MacPr0xnxx0 i dont really call it diet. I just called it a healthy eating. i eat 6-7 times a day with all the healthy food that contains complex carbs, proteins and healthy fats. (my favorite are oatmeal, grilled chicken breast, all natural peanut butter and fat free cottage cheese)
as for my workout routine. Right now, im doing a 3 days on (Heavy day), 1 off (Rest day), 3 day (Light/medium day) on routine. Also, i do cardio about 2 times a week now.

@khoibeast I say your "normal" nutrition seems to be good already. But if you have a fast metabolism don't eat to often except before and after training (4-5h is healthier in terms of time), but eat bigger meals (at once 1000+ kcal). You body either digest in your stomach or puts these nutrients into blood and cells. Eating to often steals your body time to regenerate.

And never listen to the propaganda of the supplement industry and their promoises. Look up your facts and ingredients in e.g. wikipedia. Reading your comments - not to give you a secret but Glutamine is a protein and BCAA are 3 important proteins you can find with the others in every protein-food. Amino-tabs, BCAA-taps.. and to seprate all these stuff in single producst just makes them rich, not more.

Don't just use Whey, simply use a 3k-Protein (just Whey (short), Casein (long) , Egg (less water in skin) - not more) - and to come to weight gainers, they should also contain these 3 protein-sources, but most important not sugar. If sugar is not separately decelerated then the gainer contains certainly much sugar. Cytogainer has to much sugar, thinking of me as hardgainer eating 3000-4000kcal a day just holding the weight and preventing diseases like diabetes in a few years.

@khoibeast First of all I must correct myself: Glutamine and BCAA's are amino acids, of course. there are 20 for use in lifeforms, proteins are build up of amino acids. but that I'm sure you already now. Don't understand the run on Whey and just Whey. It's finally just Whey (a part of milk), Every protein has Glutmaine, the 3 BCAA's and the other amino acids. So you don't just Whey Protein to get it. And every Whey Protein is statistically the same.

Your body is not stupid. just let it do the work, eat normal food protein, and to get more into bodybuilding an competition eat quark, low fat fish, chicken, egg, bananas (potassium, calories), only good fats like you already do and to make that lifestyle easier;-) supplement a 3-Components-Protein as i said (it has whey + other protein sources). Save your money and DON'T buy all ingredients as separately product. You don't need a Whey only product.

By the way its a myth that your body can run low on amio acids and that, they say, is the reason you must eat (fast) Whey protein. Your body is not stupid. Whey-Protein sources still need 30 min 2. You will never run low on Amino acids in your blodd jsut because you didn't ate protein just fast enough after training.

I would cut the all natural peanut butter (no salt, no palm oil(trans fat)) before bed. Last "big" carb meal 2h before bed. fat free cottage cheese, eggs+spinach, tuna (low but essential fatty acids) + rotating a bit or similar proteins directly before bed (<1/2hour)

@athleticnakmuay well, at around 6 pm, i would have my 6th meal with oatmeal, chicken breast. Then about 2.5 hours later, i would eat my last meal with cottage cheese, either some tuna or some eggwhites, and 1 spoon of all natural peanut butter which helps to slow down the digestion. i tried to have low or no carbs for my last meal before bed :) This works great to me.

I self searched long, their still aren't enough good weight gainers with low sugar, so I first of all look for a good nutrition with real food, but some like "Muscle Juice Revolution 2600" or "Serious Mass" are low on sugar. Low sugar (news: body stores it as fat) means lean mass gain by the way.

Nice, great proportions, I'm 5'8 and have a body type kind of like yours, btw, what is your BF %? I'm guessin somewhere along the lines of 7% to 8% BF. I'm somewhere round 10-12% BF right now. Great work, and keep at it. Plus if you want some quick gains, are you on any type of whey protein? If not, you should get some, you'll grow quick!

@khoibeast Cyto gainer is a good supplement, it promotes lean muscle mass. I used to take muscle milk and it got me some good results. And your diet sounds good, and how many shakes are you consuming throughout the day? I'm taking around 3-4 depending on how much food I have available at the house.

So far you're looking great man. I'd say eat 10 times a day if you can. Do not let the fear of getting fat hold you back from growing. You look like you've got a fast metabolism though, so that should not be an issue.
