Cause of death .44 inch hole through chest and major vital organs, burns, even a fireproof vest isn't really proof it's just resistant and fumes/oxygen deprivation from the fire... A very permanant death indeed, as well if he did survive he'd bleed to death. Even if someone was looking for him, they wouldn't be able to find him among all the other people who may or may not be dead. And as he'd have no recognizable Id, he may get shot again. Worse, you xant just poke someone with a syringe...
