Let me clarify a misconception for all you Westerners. Bellydancing is a dance of celebration performed by women for women. It is not for the purpose of entertaining men. 99% of the time belly dance is done at home for fun, at weddings, births, and celebrations where only women attend.

That little girl has talent. I hear her mother droped her off at a bellydancing school because she thought it was a math ed school. I know I'm getting it phrased wrong. My bellydancing teacher told me the story. Bellydancing is really hard if your arn't flexable. The little girl is so cute.
Does it matter what nationality she comes from? I'm an American belly dancer, with a mix of German/Irish/Polish roots. Obviously, I don't restrict myself to polkas and step-dancing. The thing that ticks me off the most is when people tell me I'm pretty good "for someone who's not Arabic."
This little girl is just doing the dance she loves, has amazing stage presence for someone her age, and she's very good at it.
Actually I believe Kira posts videos under the dance style. Which may not necessarily be the dancer's nationality. There are subtle and not so subtle differences in hte different dance styles. My favorite is Egyptian/Oriental.

Current day Egypt is more Arabic. However, ancient Egypt, from whence Belly Dance originates, was definitely Black/African not Arabic. Regardless, all peoples on Earth come from Africa and therefore, all share Black within our DNA. It doesn't take a genius to do some research either.
I would like to add that the young girl in this video dances extremely well. A good dancer is a good dancer, no matter what nationality.

The last time I cracked open an atlas, which was pretty recently, EGYPT is located on the continent of Africa. Seems that alot of people have a real problem with admitting that ancient Egyptians, from which Belly Dance was born, were Black Africans and not Arabs. Denial can only get you so far.

someone edited the arabic texture, this a turkish channel KANAL D (w w w.kanald.com. t r) youll see its turkish and CANLI means LIVE. This is a turkish girl and what you hear is a Darbuka, a turkish instrument, so this is also turkish music. Don't arab girls wear hijab?

That little girl has talent. I hear her mother droped her off at a bellydancing school because she thought it was a math ed school. I know I'm getting it phrased wrong. My bellydancing teacher told me the story. Bellydancing is really hard if your arn't flexable. The little girl is so cute.

Does it matter what nationality she comes from? I'm an American belly dancer, with a mix of German/Irish/Polish roots. Obviously, I don't restrict myself to polkas and step-dancing. The thing that ticks me off the most is when people tell me I'm pretty good "for someone who's not Arabic."
This little girl is just doing the dance she loves, has amazing stage presence for someone her age, and she's very good at it.

Actually I believe Kira posts videos under the dance style. Which may not necessarily be the dancer's nationality. There are subtle and not so subtle differences in hte different dance styles. My favorite is Egyptian/Oriental.

She is awesome and very cute. However, I believe she is Turkish because the host of the show (Seda Sayan) has only Turkish guests. She could be a gypsy or of rumanian descent, like some little dancers in Turkey are. Who knows, she could even be of Lebanese descent.
