It has been open to interpretation since it was written down. You can quote it all you want, but there are certain words and culturally specific sentences that can be interpreted differently.

Just to make things clear. EVOLUTION means DIVERSIFICATION. The CREATION as a TOTAL (oneness) male heterosexual represents. Homosexuals are equal intagral part of the society and hence NO SEPARATE MASJID for them. They can't marry but by partner they go, in essence they go by the law like the heterosexuals who have to marry and this one in adultery is punishable. Hadith is not attributable to NABI MUHAMMAD (saw), if needed for historical reasons it must be judged strictly by the Qur'aan.

@mohammadbanibaker I think you need to read the Quran, and then read Islamic history, and then read the Sharia law and it's evolution since the 11th century if you think that homosexuality is strictly forbidden and it's a crime. That's the problem with most people. They blindly follow on what might be wrong, without consulting their conscience, or even their faith.
Homosexuality is IMMORAL in traditional Islam, it is not a CRIME. A crime is raping someone innocent, or stealing. Get it right.

And homosexuality in Islam is a hanas crime.Read the verses I posted and read the verse below that says PUNISH THEM IF THEY COMMIT GAY ACTS.
