I agree that a lot of psychics are full of it. But there are some people that just know things. I know a local "psychic" who helps the police find evidence. I agree that a lot of psychics are full of it. But there are some people that just know things. I know a local "psychic" who helps the police find evidence. I think some people are just more perceptive to things most of us just don't see. I don't see it as spooky or odd. Just a fact. Like some people wear glasses, and others have 20/20 vision. Once, a street psychic told me 2 things that were dead on. He said I worked in the medical field, and I was going to move in 2 months. Both correct.

I honestly without irony don't understand why the physical, observable world isn't enough for some people and they have to resort to superstition and mysticism. How is the natural world, biological life, and the wonders of the cosmos not interesting or take away from the beauty and signifigance of existence. Its fascinating at the very least. This is really nit picking but actually if somebodies father was in the military and the proposition was put to them : "can you understand anybody with a military background that was connected to you?" im afraid the answer has to be yes. Only when you put it in context then the implied meaning comes out as a dead person. Were dealing with simple truth statements. If Richard had said "yes I do, my father, but he is not dead" would have been the most truthful answer.
