The idea is cool. Its immediately appealing. But there is nothing ground breaking about it. Its a glorified touchscreen. It lacks coherence. I would love to interact with weird ripply coffee tables and design my own t-shirt or snowboard on it.. but nothing that was done, was new. This can all be done without this 'technology'. It doesnt make any of it really that much easier either. All it does is make it more appealing, and more expensive.
Wow, this is awesome! Microsoft already knows all my online activity and thus my bank account balance and transactions, birthdate, numerous passwords, my family status and lots more. Now they can find out all my friends in my celphone, my calling history, what wines I like, what my design preferences are and many other things that I can't even think of right now. Microsoft will know more about me than my own mother. I LOVE Microsoft.
