  • Well said once again Ms R!

  • yeah ole girl was clearly clearly "meddling" (as we call it)...I got some older laides that I talk to from time to time in their 50 and 60"s. They have the biggest problems with younger women...Im praying I never feel that way...Usually women like that have done everything but died then they jealous of the younger Women...let folks enjoy themselves like 'YALL DID"(old ladies)..lol...Just my opinion!!!!! Peace kiddo!!,,lol

  • I agree some women make back handed compliments I had a similar "those heels are too high" situation in a dept store once the woman was about 60. The truth is she probably wished she could still wear high heels.

  • @MikaelaSimone uh huh...... that is part of it too.......

They know they use to wear high ass heels, halter tops, hot pants, mini skirts and everything else......... now they wanna hate cuz some of us can still do it.....

  • Happy Birthday fellow Aquarian...mine is tomorrow :-)..I have to say I don't think I have experienced what you speak of unless I just didn't recognize it. I am 41 and get the "you don't look your age" thing too. One thing I can speak on is that once younger chicks find out how old I am, I get a little shade thrown my way and maybe some slick comments. I have gotten the "you aren't gonna be able to wear those heels" comments before though from older ladies but I am like whatever hahaha .

  • @sands70 Yes indeed.... it comes from women of all ages.....

    And Happy Birthday to you

  • I'm totally with you on this @lovie2000. I hate back handed compliments. Stuff like oh she has a beautiful face she just a lil on the heavy side. Im like what the heck that suppose to mean. Why you can't just say she's pretty. Make you wanna curse them out and the thing is they think its ok to say some dumb stuff like that. Anyway love you, love your videos and you look great!

  • @dreamgirl2872 Exactly...... cuz they can't stand to give a compliment and leave it at that.... women for the most part....tend to look for a reason to be negative toward other women.... in other words.... searching for a flaw......

e.g. Them some bad ass shoes..... but she shouldn't have wore them with that dress...

  • I understand you. I deal with the same issues.

  • I understand exactly where you're coming from. I'll tell a person you're referring to your experience or how you feel. I can't stand insecure ppl. It like they feel something is being taken away from them by acknowledging someone else beauty, education, personality, or style. Ppl like that function on a very weak level of thinking.

  • @lovie2000 that's exactly what it is,I hate when some of these women do that and they know what they are saying and doing.

  • You are so right on about this subject.

  • OoooOhh....Old Chick CatFight! Nom Nom Nom Nom!

  • @MeanBlackDude lol..... hursh yo mouth

  • Sometimes people think that I'm younger than I am. My daughter and I go to the same school and if we are together and she calls me mom. People say wow i thought you two where sisters. And they say my daughter don't look 19. She actually looks like she is about 12-14 yrs old. My parents look younger than they are. When I come across someone that look so young and they tell me their age I say you look good. So women just hate because they didn't take care of themselves and look 70 but really 50.

  • @chilid856 I get the same thing when I go PTO.... or just to sit in on my child's classes...... they think me and my three girls are sisters.....

But I don't take offense to that.... I take offense to women that talk to me personally in conversation.... and talk to me like I am a child in the company of grown ups......

  • @lovie2000 I know because those type of women are just hatin as my kids say. Some people need to think before they speak. And about not knowing how old a girl is, is just an excuse to mess with her because you can tell by her conversation about how old she is.

  • Comment removed

  • @rosskay oh so sorry about you not having your mom with you physically anymore........ and thanks for watching

  • @lovie2000 thank you lovie, she has not passed away yet or anything, but has been far away for over a decade... and I missed her as a kid too. nice videos btw.

  • @rosskay See I mistook that comment..... still I am so sorry that you two have been apart for so long..... maybe you two will reconnect for the best.... everyone should have a loving mother in their life

  • I completely agree. I think everyone, man and woman, should take people's feelings into consideration more. If we say something in a way that isn't very thoughtful, then we need to apologize. BUT that's if the person offended can explain themselves in a calm and intellectual manner, just like you did! Good video, great point!

  • @katanna666 Thank you katanna...... I agree with your assessment as well

  • Great Vid:)

  • @Toltecnology Thank you......

  • i think they do it cause it drives us crazy!

  • @vvavey hahah yes indeed it pisses me off to the highest point of pisstivity......

  • I CALL THAT THE " NO DISRESPECT METHOD" I CAN'T STAND FOR A PERSON TO SAY " NO DISRESPECT BUT BLAH BLAH BLAH" AND SOME OLE DISRESPECTFUL SHIT COMES FLYNG FROM THERE MOUTH!!!! YOU CAN'T PRAISE SOMEONE AND INSULT THEM AT THE SAME TIME IT'S JUST AN INSULT PERIOD!!!

  • @MooreTina11285 Nicely put..... lol "shit flying out their mouth"

  • I totally understand where you are coming from. I get the young thing all the time. Can't speak to this on being a woman. But I think both men and women can relate to you on this topic.

  • @alowlyapprentice Thank you for watching...... and yes we all can relate to the topic of thinking before we speak...... I try all the time....

  • Well, considering your words before you say them should be done by everybody. Regardless of gender. And us "men" see what you see sometimes. Not all the time, but we don't miss everything.

What you state about knocking someone down is the reason why people used to watch Jerry Springer. Or how Oprah's show was like when it first started,

I hold my tongue often. And I often I find out later I was wrong or glad I didn't speak.

    Good video.

  • @alowlyapprentice Yes indeed....thank you for watching... and chiming in

  • It sounds like the comments that the woman was making about the shoes might have came out of her own insecurities than anything else. I usually get mistaken for looking younger than my age. At my job some co-workers would ask me what grade I was in and I had to tell them I graduated from high school years ago. It seems having youthful looks can sometimes seem more like a curse than a blessing.

  • @HaleyMary Exactly..... that last sentence is exactly how I feel

  • LOL you Dont worry about the haters.

When I first saw one of your videos I thought you were in your late 20's (26-30), but when you actually started talking, I kinda figured you were older, based on how you carried yourself.

Same thing goes when a young ladies a 19yr old, who looks 26, I can tell shes younger by conversation, an how she carries herself.

So when a man says "I thought she older, that he's lying".

  • @Mrbaltimore2001 Exactly MrBaltimore....... Men know when a woman is not a woman.... meaning little girl..... and so do women.... they just be on some other shit

  • I understand u completely it's their attempt to belittle u in some way like ur not intelligent enough to catch their bullshit people like that are very insecure i can't stand when women try to throw diggs or jabbs at me on the sly i have zero respect or tolerance for that cause it happens to me quite often too. not about my age but just my relationship or situations in life that i've been through people need to take a long look at themselves before judging others.

  • @TylaJeanay1 Thank you TylaJeanay......for watching and commenting.... on the subject

  • I have the opposite problem. My hair started thinning out in my early twenties and I'm now bald so I look older than I really am. But I can't think of any times where that has negatively affected peoples perceptions of me. I guess it's different for women as there is more emphasis on their looks. I understand where you're coming from, you explained it well. People will treat you like you don't know what you're talking about because you don't look old enough to have experienced enough in life.

  • @ScorpiusCentaurus I understand that is why I said vice versa..... people in general should watch what they say to a certain extent.....

  • Often time age is used as a put down and not always a compliment. It was almost as if that lady had patted you on your head and said go and play little girl. She treated you as if you were a little girl in grown woman shoes playing dress up. How condescending is that? When people don't want deal with you as their adult equal it is tacky to use perceived age as a reason to thereby lower your status or as Dr. Phil calls it leveling (thus bringing you down a peg). That lady was ignorant.

  • @cheecheedivine exactly my thoughts........ and I hate being made to feel that way

  • I feel you Lovie, I get that all the time and it's only from women with the negative comments on the sly.

  • @tanyasbathandbody Aint it irritating.... ugh
