  • That's it :( NO more of Aunt Bea's pickles for Barney.

  • I love TGS...........but Hilda May should left Barneys hair alone and gave the guy some head. I swear Barney woulda been as good as gold after that................I guess they didnt do that in the 60's :-(

  • What a good friend Andy is. He's the best friend Barney will ever have. Andy loves you Barney.

  • I noticed that at 3:06, one of the guns was missing from the gun-rack.

  • I love the part where Aunt Bea threatens Barney if he reveals her age.

  • yea love it

  • Yes Andy is trying NOT to tell you Barney that you can't keep law and order for 8 measily old hours. If told him the truth he'd pout and go into a depression Excatly as he did 8 hrs later when he locked up the whole town. and the town laughed at him. Barney's to sensitve.

  • Proving that while Barney could be foolish,He was Well-Loved!! Once the smoke cleared everyone knew his attentions were always the best

  • Hilda May? What a name, lol! Hilda hilda hilda where is hilda?

  • GAbug81 I appreciate your explanation but, it is truly an inverted map of Idaho and not one of the country. I just find it very interesting that it is there and not a map of North Carolina, the state where Mayberry is located. The Idaho map is there for only 3 or 4 episodes as far as I can see.

  • only in america :-)

  • Can anyone tell me why they have an inverted map of Idaho behind Andy's desk. It is there for several early episodes.

  • @matherme

I believe that is suppose to be a map of the county it does have a resemblance though to the state but I think the lines are roads

  • @matherme because the director was drunk

  • @GJNCA , if you notice when the series first started Andy talked in the Southern language, then as the series continued he slowly droped the accent or southern tone and talked in a normal tone or at least as it on the West Coast. I agree that once Barney left and they went to Color the show suffered because of it. I didn't care for the Color Episodes.

  • @Astraldragon1 Yeah, the show lost a lot when don knotts left.

  • @Astraldragon1 The only two I watch are those that Barney comes back ... I don't even bother admitting the others as part of the show.

  • @GJNCA ....YES! Don Knotts found himself in some kind of situation concerning movie contracts or something of that nature. He and Andy were really good friends, and that had to have an affect on him.

When Don left, things seemed to evolve more into the modern "SitCom". I didn't care for it as much, and I can imagine that Andy didn't either.

  • Barney did NOT have them all "dead to rights". Otis seems to have not broken any law, even in the most stretched way. For a change, Otis was NOT guilty as sin... and Andy shouldn't have agreed with Barney on that claim.

  • @IgnatzKolisch Hey,You should have more respect for the LAW!! They all came back, didn't they!!!

  • thanks alex...lock em all up!!

  • Hi.Thanks for this....great!
