Trust me, I had heard of Golden Earring, and knew some of their tracks, before I ever visited nederland or got any Dutch friends. They were known outside their country.
Ironically this video was banned in both Germany and the US when it came out because the fist of the door knocking looked like ... a Nazi salute. Or so thought MTV.
Yes it is but as all dutch artists they didnt get the chance to get a hit in USA England or whatever, simply because Holland is nothing in the world in the eyes of the others I guess.. Pitty for the people from your countries that we CAN listen and enjoy this songs :)
