  • Matthew 1 -23-25-King James Version (KJV)

23=Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is,GOD WITH US. 25=And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

2+2=4+4=8+8=16 WHO WAS THE CHILD [ JESUS ] Now you may not believe the KJV or any other BUT the kjv is very clear Jesus is God and he [JESUS ] will judge us me and you one day soon HE IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD.

  • @bel: Do you realise Matthew deliberately MISQUOTED Isaiah 7:14?

Firstly, in its original Hebrew, Isaiah does NOT say 'virgin' but 'young woman' who may or may not be a virgin.

Secondly, Isaiah says that "[the virgin] will call him Immanuel". But Matt DISTORTS it by saying "they will call him ..." Why MANIPULATE God's word?

At any rate, this prophecy was NEVER fulfilled in Jesus as he was NEVER called Emmanuel. In fact, when he was born he was named Jesus (Luke 2:21), NOT Emmanuel. Why?

  • @zorin85 Why i'm so fixated on KJV this is just another reason why==

YOU stated = prophecy was NEVER fulfilled in Jesus as he was NEVER called Emmanuel. In fact, when he was born he was named Jesus (Luke 2'21 //

The VERSE says they will CALL HIS [ NAME ] EMMANUEL = NOT NAME THE CHILD EMMANUEL.

And yes the prophecy was AND IS BEING FULFILLED EVER DAY .

His [ NAME ] is JESUS and we believers call his NAME [ JESUS ] EMMANUEL.

    READ THE VERSE.

    IT'S NOT COMPLICATED.

    2+2=4

  • @bel: Let's read how your beloved KJV expresses Isaiah 7:14. "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Who shall call her son's name Immanuel? A virgin, a.k.a. the Virgin Mary. Well, did she?

In Luke 1:31 & also Matt 1:21 she was told by the angel to name her son Jesus, which she did (Luke 2:21, Matt 1:25). So by what name did she call him? NOT Immanuel but Jesus!

Verdict: FALSE or UNFULFILLED prophecy. Take your pick.

  • @zorin85 . Isaiah 7:14.

    King James Version (KJV).

14-Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

    Isaiah 7:14.

    New International Version (NIV).

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

    KJV=and shall call his [ NAME ] Immanuel. = KJV.Matthew 1-23=call his [ NAME ].

    NIV=and will call [ HIM ] Immanuel.$

  • @bel: Let's take a closer look at Matt 1:23. "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and THEY WILL CALL him Immanuel" (emphasis added). Who is THEY? His family? His followers? Critics?

The fact is NONE of them called Jesus as Immanuel. Period. There is NO THEY. In fact the name Immanuel does NOT occur at all in the entire New Testament, except in ... you guessed it - Matt 1:23. What does that tell you?

Verdict: another FALSE or UNFULFILLED prophecy. Make your choice.

  • @bel: The God of the Bible is the Almighty, the Creator, the Most High, & NO one compares to Him. Jesus Christ CANNOT be “God” if he says that the heavenly Father is his “God.”

You CANNOT be the “Most High God” and be in submission to the “Most High God” (1 Cor 15:28) & say that He is your God. This makes NO sense.

If words truly have meaning, then one CANNOT be “God” & have a “God” at the same time. Consider Ephesians 1:17, Romans 15:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 1 Peter 1:3. Hence, Jesus is NOT God.

  • @zorin85 You stated=The God of the Bible is the Almighty, the Creator, the Most High, & NO one compares to Him. //

Do you believe the God of the KJB is the Almighty God ?

  • @bel: If Jesus was sitting at the right hand of God in heaven when the book of Revelation was written, why does Jesus continue to make such clear statements that the heavenly Father is his “God” if he himself is God?

Revelation 1:6: …[Jesus] has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father– to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

Read also Revelation 3:12. Why does Jesus keep saying "my God" repeatedly? Does God has another God? Just how many gods are there?

  • @zorin85 Looks like you added some words [ his God ]. Revelation 1-6-8

King James Version (KJV)Jesus 6-And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

8=I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty

  • @bel: Why are you so fixated on the KJV which has been discredited by scholars of Biblical textual criticisms as filled with monumental errors? Go & check up all the recent versions (i.e. New International, Revised Standard, New American Standard, etc) which loudly proclaim "his God". So, if Jesus has a God, how can he be God at the same time? Does that make sense?

Read Rev 1:1 "The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him" If Jesus is God, why does the verse say God gave him?

  • @zorin85 You ask Why are you so fixated on the KJV ?

You just stated a very very good reason why I am a KJB only // there is no other Bible for today.

IT is GODS word for today's believer know dout about it .

If your a Muslim you don't believe no Bible .

But even being a Muslim you should be able to see what i'm talking about with the KJV .

Yes no other Bible is like the KJV - And it is the only one that has NO copy right .

The others are for money- look it up and see - HIS - was added.

  • @zorin85 JUST ONE TRUE GOD OF THE BIBLE ... JESUS... EMMANUEL =GOD WITH US...

  • The Bible clearly says that Jesus is God

  • @bel: There is ample evidence in the Bible that Jesus is NOT God & NEVER claimed as such. Where exactly did Jesus say "I am God" or "worship me"? Those who believe otherwise are chasing after VAIN DELUSIONS. They have NO truth in them. Consider the evidence:

God CANNOT die (1 Tim 1:17), yet according to your belief Jesus was killed & then resurrected (Acts 5:30). The Bible does not say that only his “human nature” died; it says that Jesus died (1 Cor 15:3), which would include all of Jesus.

  • Allah is the god jesus is the prophet .....finished ,that's it

  • There is only ONE GOD= JESUS... EMMANUEL =GOD WITH US...

  • Jerald Dirk is a liar

    John 17

    King James Version (KJV)

1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

  • @believeonetime Jerald Dirks is a graduate of Harvard school of divinity, What you have in the bible is narrative which has already been theologized. You are just angry. Your salvation is in submission to one God. Please read Quran and listen to him with open rational mind, and thousands other who converted to Islam. Peace!

  • @Rauydian Jerald Dirks is a lost man ... A liar ...And never has been a saved by the blood of JESUS ....Christian

He Rambles on and on about things he don't even believe just listen to him make it up as he go's... it takes a FOOL to believe any thing this man says ...YOU ARE SMARTER THAN THAT

  • @believeonetime It amuses me that on the Deen show he dismisses John's gospel .. "We don't know if he wrote it, we don't know if he remembered, we don't know if what he said is true" etc. etc. so he throws away the real gospels and then quotes gnostic and apocryphal gospel forgeries as if they are authentic! He is a man with his own beliefs who was a small fish in a big pond, so he changed ponds! He is a product of an apostate church and the extremely liberal school of Harvard.
