i imported the first game two the second at first then i try new game with no saved game and it isnt that different, like what big choice is there in part one. btw when jacob and miranda ask u about kaidon and ashley etc, ur making a new choice and the side quests are not really that importent to the main story line.

ME2 will be just as fun on ps3 as on xbox but i dont beleave there will be new content and if so it could be stuff that ps3 users would need to know from part one

You realise that you're only getting the 2nd game and not the 1st? without the 1st game you're missing out on the whole story and you wont be able to import your character which is what mass effect is all about. In my opinion, a game like this is worth a little more money than usual... eventhough I'm not a big Halo fan ;-). I would say, when the price difference is not bigger than 50 bucks, buy the limited edition, otherwise it's no really worth it... or you can buy the journal somewhere else in the internet (Amazon, Ebay, ...). Hope you decide the right thing for you.
