There is a siren on top of new burlington fire department that been facing east since August of 2010 and havent heard it since spring of 2010, but today it was facing west so i assume it was fixed, but wasent home to hear it
@JAJone65 If you look closely, the chopper cap is a different color from the rest of the siren, which is a sign that the chopper was replaced at one point. The same thing happened to the Thunderbolt on Whitaker Elementary in Finneytown back in 2009, went from being single toned to dual toned
the chopper cap looks like it was replaced, poor thunderbolt :( yeah sounds like a 5/6 port to me. never seen a video of a 4/5 port thunderbolt w/o the compressor. nice video, btw
@carexpertandy oh yeah, man that thing sounded creepy from a distance. im still debating on going back to Hamilton county in August or not. i'll keep you updated if i ever do come back for a tbolt, but i think were pretty close to having all the tbolts on YT anyway from that area.
sounds like if the blower was dead

Nice video. Do you think they will fix it or leave it like it is with the new sirens?
mohkfry 7 months ago
@mohkfry Just leave it, the installations of new ASC sirens should start soon, and it will be replaced

I could have sworn a couple year back this was a single tone siren, like that woodlawn siren, did they change this one?
