@giantsfan421 I went to, I think, 6 home games, and watched as many as possible on TV. Some people are all in with Monta, others prefer to see a team play together. Sure his assist numbers were up. But consider this: the team added Wright and he is money from deep. A lot of Ellis' assists were from drive and kicks. In that case, the increase in assists is in direct correlation to the improvement of the shooters put around him.

Either way, I'm happy when the W's get W's.

Monta is good at an early stage of his career due to the run and gun system he plays, Lou hasn't had many minutes during his short career because of the Sixers at the time would not play the young guys much until we hired Ed Stananski as a GM. He has the body type of a power foward, quick as a small forward, shoots well, and grabs boards like a center from what I've read about him; I've seen little of his gameplay to be honest. However, there is also the possibility of Greg Oden coming back to win ROY.

Overall, the Grizzles are going to be better than last season. Marc Gasol seems like a decent player; I saw him play in the Gold Medal Game against the US and he played pretty well. But the team I'm looking forward to seeing is, of course, the Houston Rockets. I can't wait for the NBA season to start to see all the new players, coaches and just general changes to every team. This should be a more competitive year than last year.
