If this new confession REALLY is worthy of clearing the man's name, then an appeal can be filed. Sentences are almost always revised through... (shock!) ...the judicial system! This point is conveniently left out of the story. It's a privilege to be granted clemency. ABC News is acting as though the ONLY way his sentence can be reduced is through Jan Brewer, which is completely ridiculous, but what can you expect.

Looking beyond the right/left stand point,the question is, why? The reason she gave her self is absurd to the point of shock and baseless.
