i found a fix 4 those of 4u that are having the problem i explained previously to this post. just make sure u are pressing control+B TWICE! once to break it apart & then again to create a vector out of the text !!ALSO!! THIS IS IMPORTANT! if u cant press f6 to create a new keyframe, press f5 first and THEN press f6 (press them separately). everything will be the same but its 1 extra button to push on each step of the process. no big deal

there is obviously more to it than what this video says. after you break the text apart twice it becomes vector shapes. but then before you go to grab the eraser and erase the st thing, youre supposed to hit f6 correct?? good .. because it will create ONE key frame. then when you erase one little part pressing f6 again doesnt create a new keyframe LOL all it does is advance the cursor 1 frame. so obviously there is some setting your text has to have for this to work or you didnt explain it right

how would you drop just the writing into a another FLA file you're working on? Just the text, without the stage background that is.

in flash cs3 u can make your own keybord shortcuts

Edit->Keybord Shortcuts, then in : Insert->Timeline and there u have keyframe and blank keyframe, just add shortcut

the eraser tool doesn't delete the letters...so I can't do that -.-

u didnt brake the letters so dont blame him. U need to take the whole text and brake it apart and then brake it apart AGAIN

Sorry I didn't hit 'ctrl b' twice at the beginning :). How am i supposed to export it? for exaple if i want to use it with adobe premiere? I don't need the white background and when I play it some spots are visible around the word.

Hi! when I pass with the eraser tool over the letter, it disappears but the appears again. It does not delete practically. Why's that?
