I heard that you should juice it with a juicer, blending it some how decreases the minerals\vitamins in the grass is that correct? They both look and taste the same.
@Aerosmithism I'm not too sure it does indeed make a noticeable difference. The theory is that the friction and the heat generated by the blender will "burn" some of the nutrients. Even if that were the case, it could be easily compensated by putting in a few more blades of grass than you were going to use in the first case : )
@ranjitdeepshikha I don't know. In my case (in London) the grass only grew once after the first cut, and then it went brown. I think it will depend on the environment, how low you cut, the quality of the seed itself, etc.
wow! Great vid! Just by watching it makes me feel like i want to do exactly what you did.can you tell me the version of this time after time music? Who sang it? Very relaxing.
@queenzlink247 i eat it or drink it in a smoothie just fine. if you eat lots of raw greens it builds up your good stomach acids or you can take betiane HCl+ too .
Instead of using the colander, try and get either a nut milk bag, or some muslin and then you can squeeze all of the juice from the pulp. You can buy a manual wheatgrass juicer quite cheaply too, about £20.
@y00bz I thought of muslin, but with a strainer the cleaning is much easier. I looked into the cheaper juicers, but didn't go for one as they were plastic and didn't look like would last long. Anyway, the grass stopped growing on my balcony, something I didn't do properly I guess. Will restart my wheatgrass project from next spring.
@pedroinlondonvideos I think its best to only harvest the grass growth 2 times. anyway, some ppl even suggest just the first cutting then compost the whole lot and start again. supposedly by the 3rd growth the nutrients and health properties are far less. to your health!
Well, your skin looks nice & healthy!! Wheatgrass juicer is not the only solution to squeeze the juice out. Thanks for your video.

chyressa 7 months ago
@chyressa It's a Kenwood, but any cheap blender will do. Just make sure there is a coffee grinder-like attachment with it.

Hi there, what kind of blender is that? Brand and name or model? I really can't afford $600 to $800 for a wheat grass juicer.
