  • HELLO ! WHERE COULD I PURCHASE ONE ! THANKS

  • @decoysk

there are quite a few units left. go to my listerenginegallery to see it. shipping cost from the far east is going to be the deal breaker though.

  • Hi Leonscorpio, thanks for your comment. I play with many old engines but i have to say there is something magical in the Dursley CS. Everything about it is simple and yet it works.

  • This is such a beautiful engine... everything from the hand crank starting to the put put sound it puts out.. i've been looking for one for a while now in the U.S... no one wants to sell them!!!

  • I would like to get 20 or 30

    Thats fine

    Thanks Jeff

Shipping would go to LA port

    west coast

East coast would be OK .But ould need to truck to west

  • Hi Jeff,

    drop me an email

  • Hi can you find me a good 6/1 and have it shiped to Phoenix AZ

    Thanks Jeff

  • Hi Jeff,

there are quite a handful to choose from but the freight cost would be disproportionately expensive. unless you fill up a container load with 10 or 20 engine.

but i will explore LCL cargo to your world. which port of discharge shall it be?

  • Hello,

Congratulations on getting into stationary engine magazine, your article was exelent and it was a very interesting read,

    Many thanks,

    Phill.

  • Hi Phill,

glad you enjoy reading it. if the editor permit, i would like to write about a shop in my town that refurbish all these Dusley units.

make one feels you are 30 yrs back in time. in Malaysia, not Rajkot!

  • I'm sure the editors would be very gratefull for another story to publish, their allways looking for good quality articles such as your article.

    Good luck,

    Phill.

  • Very nice, I also have an under-size pulley on the alternator on my setup, which means I also have to run the engine slower for 50 Hz output. cheers

  • Yokiniqu, do you have a pic of video to show your unit?

  • Hi, I'm building a trolley for my Lister at the moment and want a generator to go on it. I think I have found one but can a dynam generate electricity turning in either direction, clockwise or anticlockwise?

    Many thanks,

    steamwally.

  • Hi, to my pleasant surprise, the ST gen head can be driven in any direction. unlike the old Mawdsley which i originally intended to use is strictly directional.

  • Ok many thanks, I'm planning to use a massive 1935 iron frame dynamo with my Little Lister D!

  • Well done ! The sound of dependability !

  • Very nice good work

  • Nice
