Please apply next time they do it!! Just some advice, in the video I think you need to be more precise about what kind of show you want to do, what the angle is. You do amazing stuff online, i love all your reviews -- very unique..show them what you can do on a national scale! Also, I agree with another commenter about doing a whole demonstration from start to finish...Anyway, I think you're great, and would really love to see you on tv in the future! good luck!

Jack, this is a great video. Perhaps, though, you did not reach the final 15 because you did not demonstrate a recipe from beginning to end...I don't know anything about the requirements for the submission video, but it appears that most of the finalists that were picked demonstrated a complete recipe.. Just a guess though. Keep making good videos

Here is what I and probably the food network judges are thinking about this. You have a good sense of humor, but you seem to joke around a little bit to much and not take yourself seriously. When you cook, you are teaching your audience how to do it, I didn't feel that connection in this video. You should also add some family stories about how the food relates to your backround

Jack, I hope you make it. You're entertaining, put a lot of work into this, and deserve more of a return than just the adoring Youtube fans and great marketing for your line of sauces.

You should also be on the Food Network because your recipes don't call for many hard-to-find and expensive ingredients and kitchen tools. It's accessible food for the Everyman, delivered in a way that's not patronizing. Good luck with your submission, and keep up the good work!
