it was the same test before and after and i had the same amount of time, ask any scientologist if their iq has gone up as a result of auditing. theres no way to fake an increase.

If there was a real effect like that for auditing, they'd have no problem writing a scientific paper on it, submitting it for peer review, and having numerous labs around the world perform proper double blind studies to test the effect. If there was a real effect like that for auditing, they'd have no problem writing a scientific paper on it, submitting it for peer review, and having numerous labs around the world perform proper double blind studies to test the effect. However, just like all other pseudoscience, the benefits of scientology are founded on unverifiable anecdotes, and for believers, the power of the placebo effect, further enhanced by suggestion and the plasticity of human memory.

they have written hundreds of papers on it. the question is who are the "peers" that review it? psychs will discredit anything that doesnt fit in to their plans for drug sales. if you actually believe that drug companies and psychs are doing the right thing to people then you are either making money out of the current situation (likely) or just really really arrogant each person is treated as an individual with auditing so applying the exact same techniques to two people is unworkable.
