The floor seems too slippery to get the traction you need to launch higher into the air for the butterfly. Etc. maybe shoes that grip better? Get lower and be more explosive.
@bladesaint21 You are right about the floor, we are practicing in the Arobic room. However, I don't think that is a good excuse. I sure need to work on everything with this form. Thank you for your comments. Cheers! =P
@xiao890 How are you doing with this form now? thats the big trouble with wushuin general, we have to sacrifice this for that. If we're lucky to find a nice floor, we may not have a high enough ceiling, or wide enough space. Nice that you can still perform. Unfortunately I can only watch til I'm fully recovered.
@WinsomeJohnny Sorry to disappoint you, I've not practiced this form for a long time. I've been doing something different and also practice Taichi too. Check out my other clips when you get a chance. What happened to you? Hope you will get recovered soon!!! Cheers! =P
@xiao890 I severely injured my right knee in an accident at work, required surgery, in the healing process, my left hip has become arthritic. I've lost flexibilty in both knees and hips. Very frustrating but I'm sure I can reclaim some of my abilities with enough time and hard work.
@WinsomeJohnny Hello, It is nice to hear from you again. I think Yoga and Taichi might be good for you to slowly regain your strength and flexibility. I am suffering from neck and lower back pain myself too because I was rear ended by someone years ago. I didn't take care of it then, now I suffer severe pain when the weather changes. However, I am still moving and working out the best I can. I hope you will feel better soon and able to find some form of exercise that works for you. Cheers ^_^

You need to work on deepening the stances and enhancing your butterfly kick. On the closing of your form, I suggest that you toss your fan higher to show that you tossed it because right now it kind of looks like you just "passed" it to your other hand.

@xiao890 Hi thanks for asking, I had an accident at work, I'm a police
officer and hurt my knee which required surgery. The recovery hasnt seemed
as successful as I had hoped it would be. Perhaps I'm being impatient but it
has already been oove a year.
