My husband and I were watching this video as our beautiful black (but greying face!)greyhound boy was playing with his favourite toy behind us in his bed. We treasure every moment with him...every day is a privilege. Wonderful video and poignant music..we feel the love you have for them. Tears as I type.
I wonder why racing them is still legal - if too many die for the sake of the sport, it is no diffrent than fighting - I wonder if people will ever have mercy on animals...I have a pet fish that swims into my cupped hand just because she loves me....
I have two x-racers, Bunky & Dancer. They are lovers for sure. We have two greyhound events that we'll be attending this weekend. There's nothing more fun than 50 greyhounds having a party!!
I lost my 13 yr old Greyhound "Dug" on the 3rd of Sept, I watched this video with tears in my eyes, I saw Dug in so many of those pictures - those pencil thin faces dark brown eyes and white with age - that was him, the music was so appropriate
I still miss my beautiful Owyn. He was more intelligent than a lot of humans. After 5 years on the race track he seemed so gratefull to be with me. He would never walk without me if I was home.
@HomoSapiensSUCK There are things that video just cannot capture like a good photo can. And, YES, Greys are POETRY in motion! However, since they spend most of their time motionless, stills are even more appropriate.
Great video!!! My greyhound, Dexter, decided to open my kitchen cabinet this week and carry a 5 pound bag of flour into my living room and spreading it all over. Seeing his white face and footprints all over the house could only make me laugh.
As an owner of greyhounds for the past 17 years I am still in awe of their beauty, grace, kindness and love. I hope more people will consider adopting these lovely creatures. Greyhounds truly are a gift from God!
I have a greyhound pointer mix I adopted, couldn't fit a purebred in my 350z haha. I love him to death thought and plan on adopted a purebred retired racer as a friend for him. I love Greyhounds!
We are considering fostering a dog, but needs to be easier to maintenance & cat friendly. greyhound comes to mind & some have been cat tested. I read so much good things about them. I would love to help them
we just adopted another greyhound may everyone understand that these are the best most loving and easy dogs to handle there the best your life will never change and they are the only breed that i will get forever please think about adopting one of the greatest dog in the waorld god bless

y dont people understand that the way 2 go is buy a pupy greyhound then it will always b a pet and never suffer it wont need 2 b resuced. i own a pup and theres more 2 the breed than an old retired xracer. if u buy a pup u can experience the true greyhound. hard work n very time consuming but a plesure
