i was a massive fan of the sims 1 and now i have finally told myself i need to upgrade so i ordered the sims 3 today i hope it is just as good as sims1

My brother made an account and he had him and his wife, he got a job in the music career and got to the top. He also had 6 kids and got 3 of them to the top of their careers too (when they grew up)... and his wife earned 50,000 for a challenge were you deliver 15 paintings to the town hall! He was a rich bastard :L

u haven't "collected" the wishes cuz your's go up by the second so your getting them when u aren't doing anything!! and that is a CHEAT!!!!!!

@10Rosemary No ....... It is because his Sim had the "Having a Blast" moodlet. That means they're REALLY happy. When you Sims are happy, they automaticly gain lifetime happiness points. Not a cheat. Do you even play The Sims?

@10Rosemary Ok. It was because of the "Having a Blast" moodlet, though. Or It may have been because of the fact his mood was really high. If you read the game manual to learn the basics it says that If your Sim is happy they are always gaining lifetime happiness points.

@CnBCustoms O_o i didn't know that cuz i don't bother reading the manuals i just watch 'lets play's' and then play the game so thanx for letting me know and sorry about my other comment about how u used cheats. i always wondered why when my sim had 'elated' as their mood, it glowed XD

I think writing novels is a very good way to earn money in the sims 3. In my family in sims 3 my daughter has her writing skill at level 10 and she gets a lot of money every week. right now though I need to get her social skills up. I wanted to use a different word but I couldn't remember how to spell it and if I can't spell a word right then I use a different one. I have a nice family in the sims 3. Could you do a tutorial on how to use the food replicator properly? What are its limits?

You need a bigger house.... If you want a bigger house you neeed Cheats!!! Press Crtl, Shift and C to open the cheat Box.. And Write motherlode for free 50,000 . then you canmake a bigger house... for motre money do it how many times you want!! i have 100,100,000!!!

um i dont think he wants to make a bigger house and for one sim i think that house is just good for one sim.plus i think that he even knows how to make money on it but i Dont hink that you have to be rich in the sims 3 if you wanna be rich fine nobody cares how much money u have

I would rather prepare a meal, instead of using quick meal because there's a cooking skill journal and 2 of the things to do is to make 50 meals then 75 meals, and those tasks makes you prepare your meals better, and choosing to eat quick meals doesn't count as making a meal.

Can't you just pair him with another guy at the start when you create them. That's what I did for mine when I wanted them gay.

All sims can have romantic interactions with sims of both sex. If you want a gay sim, just make he have romance with another male sim.
