@gothic13rose No not at all, the after isn't that bad at all either. Suppose it depends on the individual how much it swells and takes to eat after, but the actual piercing doesn't hurt at all. Had it done 9 days now, and it's basically back to normal. The first day I didn't eat because I was scared and hated the feeling of biting the bar, but the day after I managed an egg Macmuffin and hash brown, It;s not as bad as all the hype (:

tongue piercing was the least most painful piercing ive had, my ears hurt worse so im shocked she didnt flinch i didnt either, but it is different for everyone so i understand if it does hurt for some, i just take well to piercing, my nipples didnt hurt too bad either
@hotthockeygirl your normally supposed to get it done from the under part i think, because you can avoid the nerves in the tongue more easily that way, i got mine done from underneath first also

@Cookieanddough Yah it doesn't hurt at all. i got mine done in march, I pretty much was careful about what I ate and how I chewed my food. (cause you might end up biting the bar) and with the help of some pain pills after 3 days I was fine. Didn't hurt any more than a pinch or biting my tongue. My plain ear piercing hurt more. ^,^ Just no smoothies for awhile. Sucking on the straw hurt more then the piercing. >.<

@beauty23ful I have a tiny tongue as well, go in to your local piercing shop and get them to check it out to see if you can have it done :) I checked mine out and they said it was fine so size doesn't really matter, it's only where the veins are placed in your tongue that's the problem

doesn't hurt at all i got mine done about a month and a half ago the only annoying part is the swelling for about a week you can't eat or talk properly :(

tongue piercing was the least most painful piercing ive had, my ears hurt worse so im shocked she didnt flinch i didnt either, but it is different for everyone so i understand if it does hurt for some, i just take well to piercing, my nipples didnt hurt too bad either

I got mine done like 9 months ago it didnt hurt at all, but the guy pierced my tongue from the under part not top...idk if theres any difference.

@hotthockeygirl your normally supposed to get it done from the under part i think, because you can avoid the nerves in the tongue more easily that way, i got mine done from underneath first also

@ThEuNdEaDdIsAsTeR This, but when a pro does it it's mainly just their prefrence because they're supposed to be pros and she did check underneath first. Although, yeah you're supposed to pierce from under.

@Cookieanddough Yah it doesn't hurt at all. i got mine done in march, I pretty much was careful about what I ate and how I chewed my food. (cause you might end up biting the bar) and with the help of some pain pills after 3 days I was fine. Didn't hurt any more than a pinch or biting my tongue. My plain ear piercing hurt more. ^,^ Just no smoothies for awhile. Sucking on the straw hurt more then the piercing. >.<

@beauty23ful I have a tiny tongue as well, go in to your local piercing shop and get them to check it out to see if you can have it done :) I checked mine out and they said it was fine so size doesn't really matter, it's only where the veins are placed in your tongue that's the problem
