I've recently started using the Heavenly Face Brush when applying the foundation. It provides a smooth, even finish and best of all it does not shed like the flawless face brushes.

@AlexHairKing I find the brushes I received in my starter kit are pretty good, maybe not spectacular - except the concealer brush, which is excellent.
However, I have to say some of their other brushes are just as excellent as the professional brushes I used as a licensed esthetician. For foundation I use the Heavenly Face; it's amazing and sooo soft!
I also love the Foil and Fuse brush I got in the Foiling Tutorial.
Maybe you'd prefer some of these options over the basics? Good luck! :)
