@bayyagg what i was trying to say was that this single incident where all the pilots did was to declare an emergency landing cannot prove that the best pilots are from the phillipines.i have heard of cases where an aircraft have lost all its hydraulics and the pilots had to use engine compression to steer and land the aircraft"now that was amazing"this was something that an aircraft was not designed to do.phillipino pilots were not place to the test in this situation.USA,ETHIOPIA AND BELGIEUM.

@bayyagg phillipino pilots receive the same training as other pilots around the world.what i am trying to say is that a phillipino pilot have never pushed an air plane beyond its capability or do something in which they were not trained to do to save the life of their passengers,phillipino pilots have never yet made any discoveries which changed the future of aviation.this incident was as a result of poor airport security so after this incident the changes were in airport security not aviation.

Now a days the information on such modern planes haven't been leaked out into the media, it will be a BAD publicity to the plane manufacturer, otherwise the plane would crash and some dies!

I used live in the neighborhood of PAL crews and PiLOTS, including my sister and uncle.They told me weird things happened up there! Anyway, one incident that really makes everybody got that goosebump!......

A flight from Manila to Hawaii, 200+ passengers on board, cruising speed, max altitude.

The 747 just blacked out, lost every power, and started to drop like an elephant, plummeting to Pacific ocean.

The crew told me that all they could see is the passenger and themselves are sticking on the roof, weightless! The pilot and crews are doing everything for more than a minute to revive the plummeting plane.

The inflight mechanic done everything by the book, the pilot manage to open some avionic panels and revive the plane.

Upon landing in Hawaii, the plane manufacturer investigated and told the PAL to stop any information to leak out to public and media about the incident.

As u see.... any info will be censored to protect the manufacturer, unless it crashes!

Rudder authority (aka effect of the rudder) could have been comprimised. Turns are taken not only with Ailerons, but in combination with the rudder.

If he couldnt turn with the aileron, its likely the rudder wasnt working either.
