Oh, and yes , maybe my mind is unclear about the history of the house of Saint Laurent, after all the books, articles, ads, and video shows ive read and seen of the this LEGENDARY MAN, maybe i read it all backwards... hi hi hi.. silly me. Oh well, at least i know the difference between what is truly beautiful and downright hideous ! The clothes you see in this video wont make it to the museum, sad to say. I think you're unclear about the history of YSL because most of your criticisms are a bit unfounded. Saying that the F/W 07 collection lacked the master's touch when in fact it referenced the collection that got YSL fired from Dior, it was inspired by the beatniks on the Rive Gauche. Bashing Tom Ford's F/W 03 collection for looking like prostitutes when it was an homage to an infamous collection by Yves himself that was ALSO inspired by prostitutes.

Maybe you should review your books.

Judging from the few comments that I've seen you post in various YSL videos, it's clear that you not only are kind of unclear about the history of the house and what Yves did, but also that you believe any designer who designs for the house should just continue to churn out exactly what Yves himself did.

Yes, your so absolutely right.I believe in moving forward but with a respectful nod to the past.I also believe in regurgitation, but regurtitated fly vomit is another thing !!!
