why do some guys have tape over their knuckles?

It's a very thin tape that protects them from cracking open from either inserts wearing down, or from the edge of the finger hole for those that don't use grips. I use it too! :)

It looks a bit awkward, but he's behind the ball at the release point and is square to his target. In the end, a very well thrown ball despite the armswing. A awkward armswing never stopped WRW Jr....
