I have played dota over two years and I have played demigod for about week and in essence: both games are good. I prefer dota but that doesn't stop me from playing this, too.

If you like DotA, then play this game too. No need to choose only one when you can have both.

unfortunately this game isnt worth buying it yet.only 8 heroes,less than 10 maps,only a few items,no campaign/story mode and probs with the online gaming...if they fix and add more things then it will be worth bying it.i hope they will add more things in the game cuz i like this game.maybe i like it cuz i play dota too :)

I think DoTA releases new characters when they release new versions of the maps, so i'm pretty sure Demigod will release new characters when they patch. Besides how long as DoTA been out? and how many versions have they released?

I'm not much of a fan of Real Time Strategies but this ones got me pumped!

You don't have to be a fan of RTS games to play demigod. Some characters are Assassins instead of Generals, meaning that they have no vast armies. Someone like you will probably be happiest playing the "Unclean Beast" (thing at 0:43 that looks like a rotting dog) because they don't have to worry about lots of their own littler units. Only Generals like the Queen of Thorns (naked chick with vines covering X-rated areas) have masses of little archers and warriors.
