Why doesn't SPEED have a non-NASCAR tv show? "Racing Chef" and tow trucks on tv are boring! Why doesn't Team Polizei compete in the Patrón GT3 Challenge by Yokohama? In May, 2010 just one Porsche 911 competed in Grand Am as tube-frame GT cars have taken over that class.

its like a cliff. and after you turn left you have to turn right really fast and be careful not to turn too much or youll go into the sand and crash since there are more degrees of elevation in that part

Being present when Alex was doing this impromptu interview... I was blown away with what Alex had to say, if not touched... especially by the things he can accomplish. I only had one week to know and hang out with Alex, and that was enough for me to realize just how awesome he is and how great it is to meet everyone from Polizei. It's a protective film. There are some made by Lamin-x who claim to make the ones that are placed on the 24 hour LeMans cars. Here's a quote from their site:

GT cars ( slower) have yellow film on the headlights.

DP cars have clear headlights.

It is so you can tell at night if the car coming up on you is in your class or the other class ( meaning either ignore it, fight it or yield to it).

@synysterfan911 The front bumpers are so low to keep the air from getting underneath the car which would act like an airplane's wing, giving the car lift, thus reducing grip.

@USGiorgi Wrong actually the aerodynamics of the car is so no air goes under and gives no lift, the top of the car pushing air over the top pushing the car down putting more grip so they should be lower so no gets under because once you hit 150 you start getting air born over bumps and thats when your in trouble. Therefore the car is made that way thus making it have max grip

Great video. These guys get it, they understand why people race, because they love it. You can't go to a track loaded with cash and fuck around, you have to be there because its fun its an adrenaline rush, and because you love every single second of it.  F1, NASCAR, IRL, and other peak motor sports are cool but, underneath everything is way more exciting. (not saying grand-am is low level)

yes, Riley is quite right. cambering out would be positive camber, which is what NASCAR does on ovals. top of the tire is pointing outwards.

you want negative camber, which is what road racers do.

I know what camber is, and I doubt NASCAR uses positive setups. Maybe neutral camber, the forces would just push it negative, which is why they also bank the tracks.

NASCAR does infact run positive camber setups. trust me, i've seen it first hand. the positive camber only happens when the car is at low speed, they do it so the tire recieves full contact to the track while the car is being sucked down at full speed. if they didn't run positive camber, they would get negative camber and get really bad wear on the inside of the tire resulting in a blown tire.

This is just a pure guess from me. But I think that there's alot of people who are watching this that have played a game with Laguna Seca in it. Gran Turismo and Forza being two of them. And they are also the closest thing to the real deal for most people, so it becomes natural to think of them when watching something like this.
