By lowering taxes you stimulate job growth which leads to more tax revenue. By boosting import tariffs you weed out foreign competition in our markets. Right now we are in a trade deficit. My idea would probably result in a trade war but at least the trade deficit would get wiped out and in the long run would create jobs.
