  • I did htis last night it took about 30 minutes to complete, I used a 1 1/2" for the inner and a 3 1/4" for the outer. I tried a 3" but it jumped around too much to get a good cut, the 3 1/4" fit perfect and allowed the outer wall of the pipe to control the jitter of the blade. make sure you buy a good combo metal/woof hole saw or you'll kill the blade quicker than the metal you're trying to cut. Everyone says it sounds great and no need to get those $400.00 pipes now.

  • what kind or hole saws did you use

  • @papasmurf1086 ...I have read it from people on other websites, a 3" circular saw for the outside of the "doughnut" plate inside the stock pipe and a 1 1/2" circular saw for the inner circle of the doughnut surrounding the baffle. You're also gonna need a broomstick to place inside the baffle to break it off by wiggling it around, inside the pipe.
