This was Neill Blomkamp's test footage that he worked on until the project fell through. He went on to make District 9, because of all the time he wasted making the "Halo themed short films". Sadly, these short films have been dismissed as "fan-made". He's still creatively interested in Halo, just not wanting to return to the project.

Listen! when this trailer was made, they lacked actors. The movie was then cut in 2009 for district 9. Now in December 2010 they have all needed actors, props, and editing software and have started back up on this project! the story will be Halo C.E and the ending will be the beginning of Halo 2!
