I used to do balloon animals for big company parties and events. I might be rusty now but I used to be able to do about 300 balloon sculptures per hour. Even though that was very fast, I would sometimes have people wait in line for many hours just to get a balloon.

No children ever left the ground because most of ours were only filled with lots of hot air.

@Rogerborg I would take breaks and at times a balloon would break. I guess I wasn't thinking when I typed this. I did go through a bag of 300 balloons per hour. We used the single stroke balloon pump by T.J. Myers balloon company. Another thing that I forgot to mention is that sometimes the balloons were already filled with air and stored in trash bags and I would simply twist them into shape. This does not work for special request children but we did provide a balloon menu at some performances
