  • Wow! This is the first you tube video that I have ever watched. Seeing this video blessed me, and the music was awesome!

    Thank you

    Kris Davidson

  • Thank you for sending me the link to watch your Thailand video - that was precious!

  • Great job! This is beautiful as well as moving. I really liked the part when you segue from the Buddhist praying at a shrine to the Pastor praying on his knees. And the flashy-fast stuff was fun. One bad part: no pictures of you! :)

    Keep up the good work!

    Carol Mc

  • you are the first one to comment on me not being in it, guess I wasn't that missed ;)

thanks for watching and telling me what you thought. oh that fast part was so difficult! glad it's over :)

  • I mostly enjoyed it, you did a lot of work on it. I thought the words were hard to read, and some of the pics went by too quickly for my liking. I did enjoy how you timed them to the music. This is the most extensive video you have done isn't it? I am proud of you.

  • Pretty neat stuff! It's neat to see His work around the world like that. Nice effects in music, transitions, and endings, too!

  • glad you liked it! thanks for watching and commenting :)

  • You already know about the font, of course. I would think the color isn't the problem, just the thickness. Your effects are impressive. I think you have real talent for this sort of thing.

  • So I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet - but I thought it was great how the words of the song played into what pictures/videos you showed. "I don't wanna move" = Those entrenched in Buddhist or Muslim beliefs v. "breathe in deeper now" = those who found a renewed life in faith in Jesus Christ! LOVE IT!

I also LOVE the little girls :) Nice ending picture. But I agree with Xergio - you did use the preacher shot twice...tsk tsk ;)

  • I know, tsk, tks, they are not the exact same clip but they look way to similar :(

but thanks for noticing the connection between the lyrics and the video and pics! I worked really hard on that!

  • I watched your video... You did an awesome job with it. Looks like it was a great trip. I'm bummed we didn't talk specifically about it at lunch last week. Next time

  • just watched your video - that was AWESOME!!! Send that badboy to IMB and it should be shown.... excellent job.... praying so much for you and hoping all is well.

    Heather Yordy

  • It was beautifully done. As others have said the words were a bit difficult to read. I'm thinking a different color might even be better and easier to read. Perhaps the words need to stay on just a bit longer as well. Enjoyed it overall. Proud of you!!

  • The captions' issue might be the font or the transparency of them. Very good ending and having stills is nice. I just wonder how much raw footage and stills you had to start this project? I would guess that a lot, which would make the editing harder. Another question, is the shot of the pastor in the pulpit the same both times? I appears to be so. Anyway, great job, I enjoyed it a lot and made me think about the people of Thailand.

  • Thanks for sharing the video. I rally liked it a lot, way more than I thought I would. When I saw that it was almost 6 minutes long I thought "ooops, this is long" but after hitting play it went by and time was not a problem. The subject matter is very moving and the juxtaposition of faiths is very effective. You have very good sense of what you want to show and did a great job with the editing. It runs smooth, has enough effects to be interesting but it is not overdone.

  • Thanks for sharing the video. There were a lot of great pictures. The only suggestion I have is to make the titles bold they don't stand out and are a little hard to read.

    Annette Marie Graves

  • I agree with Jennifer, the text was difficult to read. The mixture of Video and stills was well balanced. The timing for both the video, stills, and track seemed on mark. I would have liked to have seen or heard more commentary. For the most part I enjoyed it, I would love to see and hear it on another media, may when you're home again.

  • thanks for your feedback. a few people have mentioned the font. I need to be more careful with that :)

  • I watched it, and you did an awesome job with the video! I'm so impressed! In fact, I'd forgotten that you told me to tell you what I thought when I was beginning to write back about how pro the whole thing was. Did you put it on facebook?

    John Sorrell

  • Spectacular video. Wish I could go back! The videos/pics were well choreographed with the music. However, the writing was difficult to read - maybe it was just the font? However, the message was well understood! You are gifted my friend!

    Michelle N Boyd

  • Great Video! Loved it. When is the funny one coming out? :)

    Hana Ton

  • Thanks for sharing the video. I've never traveled overseas, so it is interesting to see other cultures like this.

    Toni Garcia

  • it is really good!! I like the mixture of pictures and videos, the face pace of pics towards the end, and all the pics of the idol at the end, followed by the pics of the children. What a ministry you have to move people to action.

    Pam Schroer

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!! WOW! GREAT JOB! it almost made me cry, that is the truth...

    Lindsey Rachuig

  • Loved it. You did an amazing job orchestrating the pics and music. I especially like how you ended with the girls. That's a heart wrencher.

    Keri Sheckler

  • Rebukey,

I loved this video. Good job, my friend.

  • :) thanks friend

  • Good video. Although, the text was really hard to read and the video looked a bit blurry (maybe youtubes compression or something?) I would have ended with the single little girl looking off at the camera. =)

    Jennifer Ellis

  • that's why my family is so hard to reach

they are rooted in deep buddhist traditions

your video burdens my heart for my family

    Phillip Koo

  • WOW! You really worked hard on that didn't you?? I loved every second, but especially the picture changing with the song rhythm at the end and the last shot of the little girl. Excellent work :)

    Abby

  • You ROCK Rebekah! And so does this video:)

  • ah thanks! glad you like it :)
