I just hope she has been to the continent of africa- if not SHE IS A JOKE. I CAN'T STAND AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO TALK ABOUT THE AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY AND NEVER BEEN TO AFRICA NOR DO THEY KNOW WHICH TRIBES MARKS THE KENTE CLOTH!

Designating any race for a time period to further "notice" the accomplishments of that race causes segregation in society to never cease. All it does is bring back the ideas that the attributes and contributions more so over other races and/or ethnic groups for a time period while ignoring the fact that it wasn't the color of the skin that allowed these people to great and wonderful things. If I proposed to create a class on "Caucasian History", the NAACP would have a time with me, absurd.
