  • I find that a properly setup 3d gasser is easier to hover than the typhoon. Because of its weight and it being an outside flier it can be tricky. The only thing is practice and you'll get it. Once you do you'll find you do better at the serious stuff.

  • Typhoon2 3D is awesome! I nearly hovered my 1st flight. I learned on the HZ Super Cub and I got the Typhoon2 recently. I actually dream about flying it. I am at work now and it's all I can think of. Damn thing is better than at least 50% of sex :)

  • thats my story to...ive been flying the hz supercub.....and now i mabe getting the typhoon 3d....is it hard to fly and hover?

  • Typhoon2 is not hard to fly but I must admit that landing was VERY different that the SC as you need to have some throttle during landing. Other major note of course is that for general flying you don't really use the rudder. It's all in one stick on the right ail./elev.

As far as hovering that takes serious practice and if there is wind I find it a lot easier going downwind.

    Cheers

  • yeah landing it is tricky, having flaperons helps a lot though, gives it more ground effect

  • How much is the typhoon can it hover at all??

  • this is not sick, this is sexy!

  • truly sick

  • you guys are new at this aren't you..
