I'm adult but I'm even scared to stay in USA, especially Seattle. It's indeed very nasty and risky place to stay for any "jap". Children would never realize the risk but the mother knows it so she would never let the jap child go, by her maternal instinct.
Ridiculous. Among the white supremacist USA cities, Seattle is the worst. Especially to those with Japanese decent. Taking any Japanese child into that ugly racist city is a torture for the Jap child. Don't forget that Seattle and Vancouver, the worst racist cities against the "japs" tortured thousands of civilian japs during the WW2 then killed many of them.
Yes the law recognizes but they don't always do anything about it. They did not help me when my ex husband kidnapped my son. I called 911 and they said he is the father and there is nothing they can do when in reality it is a class c felony kidnapping. You are partially right. I want my son back!
@ayaamaya I am so sorry! People don't understand what it is like to have your child taken from you. They tell you to calm down when that's the last thing you need to hear!
I understand cupwithhandles isn't happy with my comment and that's OK. We have all set ourselves up for this kind of living. The people in this case as well as all people living are having a hard time with understanding how to live in love. The children being half Japanese has nothing to do with this situation. I understand both of their plights and know there is something that can be done so that no one goes the rest of their life without love. Remember Hiroshima and the terrible trajedy done!
Thank you for your support. I think he did go through the justice system here and they couldn't help. He was at his wits end. I think she might have even gotten a restraining order based on what she said about him. He might have tried to move to Japan and get half custody or visitation although they said Japan's custom is when two people divorce one parent leaves for good. That' cruel to both parents and children! If he really has such a bad personality as she says maybe counceling would help.
@SassysOpinion Um... No. This man that you speak of was horrible and deserved more jail time than he had. That article you read obviously did not tell you everything. In fact, for some reason, most of the US coverage did not cover the facts (and the US coverage that did cover everything didn't receive as wide attention). This man first kidnapped his Japanese childrent to AMERICA and they did not want to stay in America with their shit dad (who by the way, cheated continuously on their mom-
@lauraleesmithagain cont- and ultimately had a long affair with a woman. He then divorced his wife and not even a month later, married this woman he had the affair with. But that wasn't enough for him... He also wanted to take the children away. So he told the mom that he wanted to make their marriage work and would give up the affair if she brought the kids to america. As soon as she & the kids came to the airport he slapped her with a court order to keep the kids hostage in America-
@lauraleesmithagain And she was shocked to find that he was about to be Married to the woman he claimed to be leaving! And while staying in America (due to the American court order) She requested that he not let the kids around the woman he had an affair with as they didn't even know their mom & dad were getting divorced & that their dad was going to remarry. Yet he had the kids around her all the time!-
@lauraleesmithagain And these kids who were ripped from the only country and culture and grandparents they ever knew now found themselves thrust into a new country and family and new mother and they had no warning and no support. This man is a monster. He was not thinking of his kids. He was thinking of only himself. I am so happy that their mother saved her kids from that prick.
@lauraleesmithagain conclusion- What I've stated is documented fact from articles that went into detail on court orders etc. Not the sensationalized, unspecefic attention grabber type stories that most of the American Media fed to the public.
That guy should have gone through the justice system here in The States to claim his kids as it was/is definitely a kidnapping case. Remember Elian Gonzalez from Cuba? The Cuban Gov. got Janet Reno to personally get the kid back to his father. I would hope that The U.S. has more power in this case. As for your personal story, most law enforment personnel are just dumb people and It's been shown time and again.

The United States does not recognize parental kidnapping either!

That's a pretty broad statement that is in reality untrue. United States Law recognizes many forms of parental abduction.
