I don't see why so many people that like Titanic hate Avatar, they are both good. Both Avatar and Titanic are the best movies in the entire world, no other movie made any other person other than James Cameron will ever top these two juggernauts. I love Titanic AND I love Avatar, those two movies will never...EVER...be beaten. James Cameron made these two movies and I'm sure that he will make another movie that might just top Avatar and Titanic, just as he made Avatar to be better than Titanic

@shred0001000 Maybe, but in my opinion, he knew that this is the end and he wanted to spend it with Rose. Maybe he was afraid what would happend if he leaves her. And that care it's so incredibly sweet that I don't know if that could happen in real life...
Here is what I would have done bust down one of the big doors break off a few table legs, then use them as oars, then lower my self down with one of the life boat lines. Then row away 2 one of the lifeboats.

From 6:20 it seems by the sounds like those dying people's spirits are rising up and it's really creeps me out! but i love the movie, definitely one of my absolute favourites

The movie always kind of failed to get off the ground for me until the sinking, where all the characters are yanked out of "victorian-era-chick-flick-land" and are actually put THROUGH something. Then, suddenly, I find myself really caring about them. Horner's work on this part of the film is a huge part of it.

@shred0001000 It wouldn't really matter...once you went into that water, which was below freezing (only still liquid due to the salinity and sheer size/motion of the body of water), it was pretty likely over- most people didn't die from drowning - the vast majority of them froze to death, and very few people who went into the water survived, even if they got onto floating debris-hypothermia killed them-the water that was on them froze solid. But I guess you'd have to at least try lol ;)

Has anyone realized this was also in the scene when Jack and Rose were trying to get out of the lower deck after being washed away by water? (this was just after Cal tries to kill Jack and Rose) and also its after the kid being washed away with his dad.
i could just listen to the soundtrack and still understand what is going on its that good nobody can top this movie or soundtrack cant wait until titanic comes outin 3d on the 100th anniversary 2012. In one word BEAUTIFUL
