wow. whoever posted this is retarded to say the tourney needs to leave vegas! the tourney has been here 8 times and unlv only won 3 times, 2000, 07, 08. all 3 times they WERE the best team in the MWC and were ranked 2 of those times. i went to the 07 championship game against BYU & my only conclusion is that UNLV deserves to win when they play that hard. home court has nothing to do with it either! most people here like USC or BYU anyways!!! i myself dont like the football team! go blue for that

What a RETARDED conclusion to draw from that game and that play....that the tourney must leave Vegas. TCU made 17 3s that game..17! I was there and easily 40% of the building (all the other schools combined) were cheering for TCU...it was a great game and a MWC classic. UNLV beat TCU at TCU that year too so the location wasnt a factor. Moving the tourney is stupid in every aspect. Brandon Ewing of Wyoming said it best: "the Thomas & Mack is the Madison Square Garden of the MWC." End of story.

Only San Diego can come close to attracting visitors for MWC schools, and really its not that close. UNLV was lucky to get passed a TCU team that played posessed the whole game but we took care of Utah and BYU plus we (UNLV) always get screwed on calls but who cares thats part of the game. PS BYU sucks UNLV Elite 8 in 2009

you know what else would help byu win a meaningful game besides playing it at home? getting some black people on the team. the first step is allowing minorties to be part of your religion. nobody cared that the tourney was held in vegas in the years before they moved it to denver, but that's because UNLV wasn't winning it then. They tried it in Denver one year, but then the two CO teams played each other in the first round so it killed attendance. This was a horrible call and a bad end to a dissapointing season for the Frogs.

Looked like a bump to me and a good call. Either way the basket went in and TCU was doomed. I saw the game and TCU had the best game of their lives. They wouldn't hit all those shots in another hundred tries.

That was clearly a foul. Great call. The big guys feet were still moving at the point of contact. His left arm came across the right arm of the UNLV Player. Excellent call by the Officials.  The tournament should stay in Vegas because that's the only place I would travel to see a MWC tournament game.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was a foul. If you've played basketball you know that with interior defense, you have to stay diciplined, stick your hands straight up and hold your position. Langford clearly swiped down with his left hand at :30 in this video. He had good position but broke his stance to swipe down. The ref under the basket could see it.

Then there was body contact during the shot that could have been called too.

Unfortunately,no angle in the mtn broadcast verifies a foul or not.The game would of extended to overtime without the free throw. Lets not forget TCU's incredible shooting night of 70percent beyond the arc.This was just an incredible scoring game all together.

Thus far I've seen great turn outs for wyoming, new mexico,and byu.Unfortunately 2 of those teams are already out of the tourney.New Mexico vs UNLV would of been a great game and battle of the cheers, because they were loud against UTAH.

i must agree with the other comments. besides you cant even see the player who fouled at this camera angle. so this footage doesnt prove anything. one of the TCU players did not move his feet but the player who had the foul called did. finally TCU got almost all the calls in the rest of the game so dont say UNLV was favored.
