  • What a fantastic demo.

  • Dude... 4:50- killer purse choke with killer death curdle scream. lol

  • actually kihap is quite embarrassing for me to listen right now... thou it's hella fun when you do it

  • I was lucky to learn this style back in 73. My Grand Master is still here. I am one of the greatful & lucky few, all 3 styles.

  • In the beginning of the video when they stand there and start screaming, people don't seem to understand. There not kihapping or just yelling for show, there getting all there energy from there body into one place there core, etc. This martial arts there using is not TKD, it is a type of fighting you learn when your in the South Korean Army, not to injure but to sucessfuly kill your enemy with bare hands.

  • @muststayfresh Your correct about this not being TKD it is a Martial art called Teuk Gong Moo Sool very good stuff.

  • why not learn some Kali or RAT?

  • lol...i be fucked up when they see rob a bank

  • @shiddi1

when they see me rob a bank*

  • different martial arts focus on different attack styles. Korean Taekwondo focuses on kicking because of the philosophy that kicks are stronger and have a longer range. Naturally kicks become disadvantageous because of the loss of balance and fundamental support for the body. In addition if your opponent steps in close and it's a close distance fight kicking is much less effective in which case the speed and mobility of punches and grappling are much more efficient.

  • foos ball ?

  • it makes me sad that things like this arent taught at the average taekwondo school things in this vid like the self defence drills , the grappling and the improvised weapon teaching would never be taught in britian ( sadly ) the closest thing to that kind of training would be silat or jkd because they are both designed to be deadly specifically silat

  • This isn't Tae Kwon Do. I asked my dad and he told me that it's a type of fighting taught in the army to "Kill" not injure. Oh ya and the people that are wondering why they are screaming in the beginning is because there gathering all of there strength into 1 place.

  • @ChoiXeZy That, and in combat, if those guys are out of ammo and have nothing but melee weapons, you see a platoon of those guys (and gals) charging and screaming with everything they have that scares the hell out of the enemy.

  • @te1ge Taekwondo was ordered to water down their moves by the olympic comedi if they wanted to particpate. (Mid 80's) Thats when I left for good.

Our Sensai only taught those he thought were capable of using it as a self defense only. Imagine martial arts in gang land...

  • @te1ge It all depends on how much you can pull from your training. I've been doing TKD for 10 years here in the states and while we're not specifically taught to use the techniques to kill, they certainly have that capacity as do almost all martial arts. It all depends on what mindset you take on in your training. Combining the sporting aspect, self defense, and destroying somebody mindset I think are all essential to have.

  • now thats what i call a martial art!

  • 7:14 he jumped heka high and 7:24 hes like a crashing airplane

  • @JoshuaXiong it worked thoe. lol

  • oh yer and the ROK marines were heavily out numbered aswell btw.

  • haha :d the handbag LOL XD epic :D

  • Its all very well and good to have a compliant person standing in front of them..but how would these women go win full battle gear and been going all day and then have to go the knuckle

  • They sound like someone is twisting there testicles

  • like animal's screams

  • rofl 2:25... i think that's a fatality

  • all that and someone just throws in a couple hand grenades and it's over :)

  • haha.. koreans and their choreography!

  • Hahah!

    So true.

    TKD = Dancing.

  • You have no experience with TKD. It can't prepare one for incredible lower body effectiveness for more fight oriented arts like thai boxing and grappling (bjj, for example). Ignorantly, people think MT and BJJ thinks prepares one for street or combat oriented situations. These have their limitations and 'sport' bias too.

  • can't is supposed to be can

  • I do have experiences with TKD. I have been doing martial arts for a long time, and many different styles.

I agree with what you have to say about people doing MT and BJJ for streetfighting. These people are not martial artists, theyre punks and a disgrace to martial arts.

  • Talk about slandering! So training people to be effective fighters turns them into punks? An older form of Muay Thai was trained by Thai warriors and nobility and submission grapling by medieval knights, when TKD claims a false history... So much for proven effectiveness... An effective strike is an effective strike, wether you are in a ring or on the street. What changes is the mentality(street/sports).

Also, have you trained in BJJ and MT to judge them?

  • Yes, I think people that train just for the sake of fighting makes them a punk. Competitive and street fighting is fucking stupid.

I dislike fighting, the only times you should ever have to fight is to protect yourself, or loved ones. But going into a ring to fight someone whom hasn't wronged you is fucking stupid and a rediculous waste of time.

People that train to become great fighters tarnish the martial art they are trained in, because that is no what martial arts is about.

  • More than three thousand years of martial heritage are knocking on your door, and are here to prove you wrong. Competitions in martial skill were so usual it's not even funny. We have depictions of submission wrestling in Egypt, besides being sure that such events are even older, and ancient Greeks loved boxing, wrestling and pankration so much they made them part of the olympics. After that look at all the styles of wrestling around the world and medieval duels.

    Pretty ignorant, aren't we?

  • There was this punk called Roger of Howden that participated in the crusades that stated that "A youth must have seen his blood flow and felt his teeth crack under the blow of his adversary and have been thrown to the ground twenty times. Thus will he be able to face real war with the hope of victory. Without practice the art of war [does] not come naturally when it [is] needed". Without coming any close to this, how do you know you'll be able to protect yourself and your loved ones?

  • Oh, you must also think that people who do track and field for the sake of running, or crawl for the sake of swimming are fucking stupid.

I am a very docile individual. I can't stand the thought of having to harm another human being. Still, when kickboxing, it's just two partners trying to help each other improve. I don't care about becoming a pro, but I care about improving my skills, and that's the case for a lot of people.

I don't think you know what "martial" arts are about...

  • I guess what many see in BJJ practitioners are people that want to be UFC super heroes, and feel they should use hteir teachings to impress rather than to defend... I have practiced BJJ, and one of the reasons I moved on was because most practitioners there were arrogant people that just wanted to hurt someone. MT is not a bad art, TKD has its place as do many others, BJJ is not a good street fighting art anyway, because you can only fight one person on the ground while his friends stomp you out

  • You are right, what many see in BJJ practitioners are people that want to be UFC super heroes. In reality, most BJJers just wanna do BJJ for the sake of BJJ. Many pay much more attention to the gi part when compared to the no-gi, and even fewer of them take MMA even semi-seriously, when they take it up at all. Still, I can't do nothing if people in your club had personality problems.

BTW, if there are two guys and one takes you down while the other distracts you, what will you do?...

  • BJJ is a great martial art and truly shows the ability to master manipulation of the Human body. It compliments a striker very well. I just hope that the true ART side of it is not forgotten, as many arts. TKD is going into a direction I'm not liking, either. I hope that people realize this in time and preserve the arts.

  • tkd was used and proved very effective in the vietnam war. the vet con attacked a base full of rok marines at close combat and were defeated the body count percentage was for every 1 rok marine killed 25 vet con were killed in return. the vet con were ordered never to fight the rok in hand 2 hand combat again. fact look it up.

  • as much fact as the 2000 years of TKD history and that flying kicks were used against horsemen? Haha, nice, karate was proven to be effective :)

Still, morons believing that people are killed from bare hands on a regular basis depresses me... Close quarters fighting still involves firearms and weapons like combat knives and bayonets. Unless you think they kicked them to death... Yup, I am certain that the VC were ordered NEVAH to attack them up close again...

  • the vc specfically stated that they were defeated using " the koreans own style of katate" ie tkd. tkd doesnt have 2000 years of history we dont belive that, but the styles used to create tkd such as shotokan karate, subak and taekkyeon do. tkd is just these arts combined under the name of tkd. i understand that the vc werent all killed using bare hands but martial arts such as tkd do use weapons and weapon defence in there training. try looking it up if you dont belive me.

  • OK, I admit I was a bit hasty in judging TKD. As an art it is a pretty good one. However most of its practitioners don't get taught what the rok marines do. We constantly see hands not protecting the head, semi-contact point sparring with snappy kicks, punches rarely used and locks and throws are forbiden. I know it doesn't happen everywhere but, unfortunately, it's how the vast majority of commercial schools work.

  • were taught lots of punching techneiques and we learn locking and throwing aswell in the self defence part of tkd. your thinking of wtf tkd with the point sparring. in itf tkd which i do, punching to the face is allowed and t is continus sparring at full contact in some competitions, semi in others. if you watch it its very similar to kick boxing and alot of tkd guys do very well in kick boxing torneys, search tomaz barada, serkan yilmaz, lukasz jurkowski for a start.

  • I read a book that said that TKD was actually a martial art formed when combining different Korean martial arts. Also, do some of the kicks from TKD have differences when comparing them to some in karate? I think there were differences in how the back spinning kick was done...

  • yea, its supposed to be a combination of all korean martial arts. but i say its failed system because all you see is kicking. no aikido grappling punching stuff. 90 percent kicking so thats why im saying its not a complete/successful fighting system. tkd kicks are about snapping. they dont go through

  • that's cuz martial arts are mostly about kicking than punching.... punch is weaker than kicks, that's why in martial arts we practice kicks more

  • martial arts is more about kicking? you sure about that? wing chun is a martial art right? they punch more from what i know. jiu jutsu may not punch or kick, but they sure know how to fight on the ground.

  • lol what i'm saying is just about all the martial arts include kicking more than punching... UFC fighters with jiu jitsu know how to kick right? not sure about wing chun but i'm sure they do kicking too

  • where'd you hear this?

    prove it.

i don't see the effectiveness of a flying spinning kick at an enemy when the enemy was trained to use the bayonet .

besides the VC was a militia for argument sakes.

i'm sure the ROK unit survived with superior firepower.

  • search on google for rok marines in vietnam and the whole story will come up. the the vetcons own words they were defeated by korean soldiers using there own style of katate ( tkd) tkd is alot more than spinning kicks it is a modern version of shotokan karate it involves alot of punches, kicks , knees , elbows, throws , takedowns, joint locks, and weapon disarming. tkd self defense is very similar to krav maga, spining kicks are only to show the conditioning and physical abilitys of tkd

  • and why does everybody assume that a tkder would always do a spinning kick? do you not think that if we have mastered and trained our bodys enough to be able to preform a kick like this then we wouldnt understand the principles and have the knowledge of when and where to use a kick like this. traditional ( ITF) tkd is very similar to kick boxing and many tkd fighters do very well in kick boxing competitions. look for tomaz barada for one example.

  • 4:47 - 4:52, i feel bad for the poor sap.

  • loving the flying headbutts @ 7:25 and 7:31

  • Ive met them before. the are the ROK "special forces" demo team. they do the same routine every demo..and they are all about 5ft 0inches tall..kinda funny

  • such is the 'fate' of demo teams... to apply a sweeping generalization.

  • they scream like a cat... really a bunch of pussy cats. hahaha

  • lol not screaming it's kihap. ki is body energy from nature.

ki's everywhere. but it's very powerful energy if you concentrate one spot. if u have massive ki and combined one spot it's so deadly like terminator. can break marbles. woods. enemy's body. iron beams all things break. kihap

is a method of combing ki energy in their body. and kihap sound pulse can

    stun enemy's body a temporally.

  • it sounds like my cat wen it sees a dog

  • i agree, they do scream like a girl. They do have talent too.

  • What you here that sounds like girls screaming ARE girls. There are girls in the group performing.

  • funny moron !!!

  • they scream like banshee's :D

  • ur stupad maaaaaaaannnn ... !!!

  • i dont think they scream like banshees Lintassimilator I think its the Sensitivity of the Microphone used.

  • Silence I KILLLLLLLL YOUUUUUU @ Achmed !

  • don't mess with them

  • Oh shit.. Their screaming..is horrible :-O

  • are they women or men? cant tell :S

  • women and men mixed

  • guys. it's not a TKD it's tukgongmoosool and this MA made for S.Korean special force.(so this MA is pretty young) it mixed TKD, karate, aikido and many different MA.

  • taekwondo

    upsides: speed, agility, range

downsides: power, infighting, foundation/balance (too many in air suicide moves)

almost all infighters will be able to beat TKD people. SEA boxing (MT,Lethwei, Pradal serei, tomoi) practioners will destroy TKD. japanese arts 70/30 kung fu 50/50

  • You would be surprised how much power TKD produces from their kicks. Now practicality, not always the best because their punches are limited.

  • my girls Korean great people.

her family is trained in Korean martial arts.

every time we spar the Korean stuff loses.

    now they learn from me.

it is a good art but not what its made out to be.i feel sad for them as they were sure it is what they were told it was.

they are humble people and instantly recognize the truth.

  • actually this is a very good demo of a military martial art. if you notice carefully each set ends with the defender finishing the opponent each time. standard martial arts will not teach you this.

quite different to sports TKD. very good technique and killing intent. the flying headbutts were sick lol

  • At my Dojo we always use 'finishing moves.' It's get in and get out with self-defense! Plus, it's always smart to make sure the attacker can't attack you again. You do this by beating them the first time. Although this is a demonstration, with assistance on both sides to perform a technique, it still takes serious skill!

  • haha i love 4:26

  • This is a total bullshit!!! You all fucking gotta be kidding me to believe this shit. Its discusting to watch. Prove it? FUCKING WATCH you goddamn retards who think this is a real martial arts! Watch 3:55 or even before in fights. The guy fucking jumps UP before the other one even got to hit him. This is a goddamn showoff just like WWE if you say its real, you know fucking nothing of martial arts. WHO THE FUCK SCREAMS before attacking the opponent.

    bullshit.

  • jus because their DEMONSTRATION doesnt seem more real life, doesnt mean it cant be used in real life.

  • I don't think anybody thought they where fighting for real but doesn't mean you can't use it in real life

  • man take it easy it is a just a demonstration...it is not a real fight this figther are realy preper for a real fight...they've got warrior spirit

  • and a fighter really scream befor atack for scarry the oponent and block his reaction it is something call kiai .

  • Oh i dont scream ... i calm down it makes the enemy nervous^^.Usually everyone scream so if you dont and just look into his eyes he will be scared.

  • you should fight one

  • The banner at the end should have said: "Welcome to Korea, Don't fuck with us we'll break your neck". I know a bunch of ppl from Korea, in Korea everyone has to serve a certain amount of time in the army depending which division you go into (navy, army, airforce) but they ALL learn some military martial arts, its sick.

  • Great vid^^ kepp up the gd work

  • Are you fucking kidding me!? IT IS freaking fake. He fucking starts jumping befor a girl or a guy whatever it is hits him. Fuck this shit sucks ass.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? I dare you to go and fight one of those guys, they will fucking beat you to a pulp.

  • Its practice, not real fight. Practice is always different from live action because nobody wants to kill the partner... you know?

  • aaaaah that hurts ....

  • ugh too much screaming..

  • no shit, einstein!! of course it's choreographed and it's very accurate also

  • it's choreographed

  • that is teukgongmoosool, is a great martial art, i practice in chile

    good video

    see u!

  • damn........... fucking koreans are insane!

no wander we lost the war

  • wow Bryan your stupid

sure a gun would be stronger then fists in a far range battle.

but thats why asians are SMART

didnt you watch the last samurai?

    lure the enemy close.

    AND THEN OWN HIM!

  • Teukgong Moosool is an excellent military martial art, we practice it in Chile.

  • my ears r still ringing from da high screams bt they go hard out hate 2 mess with da chick with da handbag

  • lol the start is like hearing an hooligan song

  • LOL look at 4:47 the girl is screaming like an idiot !! lol

  • This is whatever, they lack training in Gi, where true power is.

  • I will beat all these people with one strike.

  • some of those screams are soo high pitched lol

  • some are girls

  • i see slayers_boxer

  • i'm korean and my grandpa was a medic and my uncle faught in vietnam int he korean army becuase i'm korean and everybody is korean in my family and they knew how to do that.

This kind of fighting the ROK uses is sorta like tae kwon do, but the difference is that instead of knocking out people they use the style of actually killing and giving alot of damage to the body.

  • I love Tukong moosool

  • Typical demo...reality is Koreans are tough people...they gave a multinational force a hell of a time in the 50s - with guns and without.

  • I won't disagree with what you say, but being tough was not the reason for difficulty in the Korean war. It was the lack of knowledge of terrain and their guerilla style of fighting. If you look back, the US is an incredibly formidable opponent to other nation states where it can take advantage of its technology and massive fire power.... However its always struggled in guerilla settings.

  • Man I love the bit where the gal choked an atacker with her purse. looked funny.

  • sillnator you shouldnt be talking the fighting might be staged cause its a demonstration but lets see you go fist to fist with that. and if you wanna try try and break blocks and wood with your bare hands have fun.

  • lmao.. staged piece of shit.. koreans will die!

  • Useless in a real fight, .45 beats fist everytime.

  • Lol your better than 1 you better than all, I'm not better but steve

  • I love Koreans! There are truly an amazing people:) Peace!

  • beggining of the vid, first thing i noticed-- that is LEAPIN GOOD FORMATION!!!!!!!

other then that...WOW!!! its incredible what the human body can do...

  • i wish i knew Martial art. this video is the best in you tube.

  • Omg, theese guys are though! This is no soft shit, its hard like hell. Not much holding back in those kicks... :P

  • i kno they can kick as of they have 2 but the hole thing look staged 2 me i wana see them kick as 4 reals im not sayng they cant im just sayng it was staged.

  • of course its staged... its nothing but a series of formal katas

  • dear god, those korean!

  • I'd hate to come across that lady with the purse at 4:30 minutes. She's a lunatic. :P

  • This was a good dancing demonstration

  • NO military one on one could beat a person with those skills

  • c des fous

    they are crazy!!

  • the "japanese men scream like pussies", eh? well, i dont mean to offend you, but somehow you mistook korean women for japanese men? i wonder how did that happen?

  • k dude we don't all look the same so theres hot asian girls and ugly so if we all looked the same how could that be possible stop being stupid rtard

  • I didn't mean to offend you Asians, but face it you all look the same. That includes men and women, you prissy fucks. You can join them and have an orgasm for fucksake.

  • LOL. COOL.

  • ooo my god this are highly trained professionaless, they are awesome and unbelivable agressive. Respect. They are realy good.

  • my ears hurt... they can kill with the sound

  • nice kicking, awful screaming.

  • hahahaha they kihap funny

  • O.o;..wow..I would never be able to do that with my head..

  • south korea are the best

  • I could not stop laughing at the way they were screaming.

  • bhaha that is pretty funy. japanese men scream like pussies

  • THEY ARE KOREANS....PFFF

  • wtf dude there korean you ignorent fuck

  • Some of these Korean military members are women :) That's why you hear high pitches.

  • idiot (meungchungee). how the hell can u say they are japanese... and if u didnt knoe, y say its japanese 1st of all, ignorant... your parents taught u better then that. and that foul language towards them is very bad :( dont do that.

  • look how well disciplined they are.

white people can never accomplish that.

  • hahahahaloloalfao omg tho i don't agree that was a hella funny comment

  • how very racist of you coolnick

  • i like the video but the way they yell is funny!!!

  • do they expect to use that on real combat?

  • THEY do, anyone who knows anything about a real fight looks at that and sees 100 punching bags a-waitin'. It's Bullshido, these doofuses couldn't fight their way out of half a paper bag.

  • 100 virgins....HA!

  • ROFLMAO

  • watch 4:37-4:50 she insane!

  • hahahaha, military eh, so is this before or after all the shooting? because If I had a gun and was in a war, and some crazy korean person screamed at me like that, well I wouldnt have a round of fisty cuffs with them thats for sure lol, BOOM

  • DAMN STRAIGHT

  • that's a piece of fucking nothing

  • Woahh. Theres like a guy in that kick ass group who screams like a bird. 0.o

  • hey guys....why are you talking about nukes?? that is not the NORTH korean military. it's the SOUTH korean

  • Heh heh...hah...welllllll, since I AM stationed in Korea, thanks to this vid, I wont talk to ANY ROK or KATUSA soldiers ever again >_>.

  • I want to train in Korea. I know I'll never train with THESE guys, but does anybody know if it's possible to go over there to train?

  • it looks great....however...they HAVE to be that good. They are surrounded by North Korea and CHina....and this this TAE Kwon Do did'nt help them the first time. The U.S. and the United Nations had to save them.

  • It's hapkido, not taekwondo. And it did wonders for them in the vietnam war.

  • I hope everyone got the message of innocence, in this beautiful emotional, theatric, display of what truly is being said with body, form and voice.

  • you will see this kind of stuff anytime at the paris bercis martial arts demos, all well coreographed stuff that looks impressive to beginners

  • lol FUCK KOREA AND TKD, but those women go crazy lol

  • okay im assuming that you guys havent been informed...these are the korean special forces/counter-terrorist force also known as the "707th Special Mission Battalion"...if you guys still dont know what im saying then maybe this will help...theyre the Korean version of SAS and Delta Force and etc

  • perfect form

  • Awsome Go Korea

  • lol @ d3vilb0mber. you prolly pissed ur pants cos of da screams so u didnt watch it.

  • Simply awesome. GO KOREA!!!

  • hey.!

    buddy. that was awesome.

    i realli liked this video.!!1

    wo0w KOREA.: =)

  • these guys are the korean special forces/counter-terorist unit...the 707th Special Mission Battalion is the korean version of Delta Force and the British SAS

  • I will have to agree with Mickey.. screaming: yes.

  • that bird sreams

  • Korean Tukkong Moo Sool-translates to Army Martial Technique. Not an art but a distilled version of Hapkido, focuses on the simpler/direct techniques of Hapkido. Is practiced by Korean SWAT Police as well. They changed the name so Hapkido schools didn't exploit the armys/police link for commercial advantage. Its back fired though and now private schools are springing up, teaching "Tukkong Moo Sool" for profit as an art. Great stuff but really Hapkido.

  • ty for sharing your knowledge on this video I learned alot about korean martial art. I didn't know anything bout that even though I'm korean, by the way r u korean?
