  • I know this is an old video but I just wanted to say this tutorial is awesome. I managed to get it working with the E2 chip first try. Thanks heaps for sharing it man

  • Sometimes i use the z value of spedomiters and wire them to thrusters to smouth out the upp and down move ment :)

  • Where can I get the e1 chip cos I only have e2

  • @Spongehead1000 the people who made wiremod deleted expression 1 because no one was using expression 2.

  • Would you use the same code in an E2 chip? every time i try it with one it is slugish and dosen't hold a the height i want it at

  • i cant get mine to stay in the air, it jsut falls to the ground when i unfreez it, im not useing Expression.

  • @NIGHTEHAWK in the first video of this tutorial I show how to make it float in the air, its pretty simple. just a thruster.

  • @ThePhotografer yeah i know. i just got it to work, ges si was wireing it rong or something

  • I can't seem to change the height..

  • Using Physical Properties doesn´t seems to help! :S What else can i do?

  • How did you fix the glitch where it bumped into the ground!???!

    You didn´t explain that!

  • Cool

  • ok i have a problem with the expression, my helicopter is flying in loops untill it grounds itself.. no match what i set each thing to it just keeps looping into the ground

  • Me again....I found the Problem...THE Map i played at!

When i made the GPS on that map the Z value was -1600 automatic.

    I works now

  • yeah, when a user creates a custom map sometimes they put it in a wired spot. for example the GPS location 0,0,0 could end up being 40 ft in the air and in some random corner of the map.

  • @ThePhotografer

Hey how can I adjust the height of the floating plate? (how high it goes)

  • @doggygomoo You change the targetZ (remember Z=height) to whatever value you want. I used 60 in a constant value or you can just replace "TargetZ" with "60" or whatever height value you want and it'll will be the same. The reason i used the variable TargetZ was so that I could attached the value to something else's Z value latter (like a persons Z position)

  • Hey,nice tut :)

But when i try to make my plate stay in the air,it just shoot itself up in the air.

i have done exactly like u many times, but it dont work. Any solutions?

    sry for bad english xD

  • @fatass355 hey , um i'm not sure what the exact problem would be be but a common one is wiring the to the wrong cordinates. make sure you have the target cordinent set to a constant. make sure your GPS is wired correctly otherwise im not sure...

  • Thank you very much i was looking for such a tutorial for a long time! Hope your making more (:

  • very useful and good tutorial :)
