  • Kinda confused.explain?

  • That kinda made me tear

  • /watch?v=63RxHJBlMtw

  • I think most every boy gets gay with a friend, at one point or another. If you didn't, you missed out... whether your gay or straight. I'm 22, I'm still best friends with the boy I fooled around with. We're both straight-ish. We've known each other forever, literally, we don't remember ever meeting. The last time we did anything I was 14, and had just started high school. Things got weird after that (I didn't really participate), but we both kinda silently agreed that we needed each other.

  • @ChaseManhattan516 true dat

  • That kid is freaky lookin', big ears, and weird lips... he looks like a fish. It's probably because he is genetically gay... oh geez, he's a gay fish! /watch?v=xWxWzqChvfo

  • Progressing!!!

  • Such a gooooood short. Moving.

  • omg good video, sad but good.

  • THAT is so sweet! Tear tear! Beautiful writing. And directing. And execution. And message. Just, beautiful!

  • Omg wow. Beautiful

  • I almost cry

  • I don't often smile and cry at the same time. Not sure if I'm crying cause I found this message good or that I hope I don't turn out to be the senior.

  • I don't understand except at the end. Did the old man used to be really good friends with that kid in the closet who hid from his father because he wasn't allowed to have friends? And the men who held hands reminded the man of his friendship? They were just boys at the time. Those men were like, 40.

  • @ArtistsCry13 The ball reminds the man of his past, when him and the boy in the closet (a metaphor for being "in the closet," or not letting others know you're gay,) would throw the ball over the fence to let the other know that their parents weren't home, so they could sneak over and... be gay. Until one day they're discovered and suffer severe consequences. At the end, a girl named Hope (symbol for hope in change, in gay relationships, etc.) helps the man then joins her gay fathers.

  • awh

  • That was beautiful.

  • I had shivers watching this!

  • This is excellent. I hope that it has been submitted and won short film awards, because it is brilliant!

  • That was inspiring and amazing and only in about 3 minutes. It created various emotions in me while watching this.

  • this was amazing I'm out of words

btw the kid that waited for the ball is going to grow and become a very handsome man :)

  • super fasinado con este video me encanta WAO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont get it :(

pls someone tell me wats the story here

i noe im stupid im just a 12 y.o boy

  • @EzraCrydarragh The ball rembers the old man of simular incidents in his past. He was in love with the boy in the closet (metaphor for not being outed as gay) and they both used throwing a ball over the hedge as a sign to let him know, that the other boys father wasn't home and he could come to visit savely. Until the day they got caught and punished quite severly. In the presence a girl named Hope is raised by a same sex couple so the message is, there is hope because things change!

  • @JSuttonFan2 man why couldnt I understand this lol

  • CELEBRO ESTE VIDEO,

CELEBRO EL AMOR Y LA IGUALDAD.

  • So this video shows us that gay people should have children? Thats bullshit. I dont have anything against gay people, and I feel sorry for that old man, but child should has mother and father, thats natural and normal.

  • @TheJustCreative

EL AMOR ES MÁS GRANDE QUE CUALQUIER COSA, IDEAL Y/O ESTRUCTURA "NATURAL Y NORMAL"

EL AMOR ES LA BASE DE LA FAMILIA, NO LOS GÉNEROS QUE LA CONFORMAN.

  • @MrEma0712 Say it again in english and we can talk.

  • @TheJustCreative Sorry, but two gay, stabile parents is a far better option than an unstable home with one or two straight parents.

  • @l0gically I dont agree. Surely, the best option is to have normal, happy family, and if that isnt possible, then you hae many options: being raised by one parent or even, in critical situation, taken from them and be adopted. But gay parents is just wrong. As I said before I dont hae anything against gay people with that one exception. It is natural that kid has mom and dad and its required to make normal, healthy family. You wont agree but I dont wanna argue here.

  • @TheJustCreative "But gay parents is just wrong."

And yet, there is no discernible difference between kids raised by either group. So what's "just wrong" about it, other than the fact that you don't like it?

  • @l0gically It is a difference. Child needs both mom and dad. You need caring, safe feeling of security mom gives you, you need a trust and authority dad gives you. You cant talk about everything with mm, in some cases you turn to dad and vice versa. Many people today accept adopting kids by gay people, because they want "toleration", and its nothing bad if it isnt with charm for anyone, and in this case, it is.

  • @TheJustCreative "It is a difference. Child needs both mom and dad. You need caring, safe feeling of security mom gives you, you need a trust and authority dad gives you."

Say hi to Ward and June Cleaver for me. The fact is that not every kid WILL have a mother and a father, and even for those that do, it's more likely that reality will be quite a bit removed from the picture-perfect scenario you envision. It just doesn't work that way.

  • @l0gically There is, for example, a boy raised by two women somewhere in Amercia, as I remember, who now, being only 10 or less, wants to be a girl, is dressing in female clothes, etc.

  • @TheJustCreative "There is, for example, a boy raised by two women somewhere in Amercia"

Holy cow - a boy has a gender identity issue, has two lesbian parents, and it's somehow their fault. Using your own logic, the real problem is heterosexual parents, because that's by far and way where most of the transgendered community come from. Come to think of it, this is also where the vast majority of lesbian/gay people come from too.

  • @l0gically Im not going to argue. You see things different way than I do. Of course most of gay people comes from heterosexual families, but homosexuality isnt anything bad. Rasising a kid by homosexual parents is bad, because as I said, child needs both mom and dad. You dont see it, I do, we have different way of thinking. Im out of that discussion, take care.

  • I'm crying ... :/ Modern times ... I was born at the right time. Thank you God,

  • Happy Ending... kind of... but so sad.

  • gosh that made me cry!

  • Bravo!

  • Aww, i almost cried :')

  • "but its my opinion that this is funny so i dont care if u think its funny in my opinion"

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? are you retarded or something, try paying attention in english class instead of being a clown and focus on sentence structure.

  • That was so amazing. I totally don't really know what he's going through because my parents don't care, but it's so believable and just amazing. Thank you for making this.

  • the old man was denied his young love - his father beat the hell out of him because the little guy loved boys instead of girls . He learned early on that being gay was a bad thing . he spent his whole life denied true love . Like me , i learned early on that it would be easier to be with girls ( yuk ) . i know this old man very well .

  • love tá sé seo iontach álainn é

  • that is so gay..... xD

  • amazinnggg :O

  • amazing

  • wooooooooooow

  • @Cleaver428 if u hate gays then why watch this? i personally thought it was so touching since too many people in this world are like you and dont really know how gays in real life are.....good luck in life

  • @MsLadyGaga4Life cuz i didnt know wtf it was about at first then i realized it was an ad about an old gay man and his younger years when he used to fuck some other kid in the anus.

  • @Cleaver428 ok well u can have ur opinion but just so u know ur a very hateful person so i hope ur happy and ya maybe they did have sex but who honestly cares??

  • @MsLadyGaga4Life rofl how am i being hateful? im laughing at some young kids who fucked eachother!?! obviously your just a fucking spaz who cant take humor out of anything.

  • @Cleaver428 look we all have different opinions i am actually extremely funny im the class clown of my school but its my opinion that this is funny so i dont care if u think its funny in my opinion i think its hateful but in urs it may not be.....

  • this...is amazing :)

  • Beautiful! One day we'll see an end to prejudice and ignorance.

  • Beautiful!

  • very very well done.......... wow

  • 0:30 that kid is adorable!

  • That actually made me cry because it was so awesome.

  • omfg that kid has a fucked up mouth! this ad is so messed it scared me ahhhhhh

  • This is beautiful, thank you.

  • This made me sad but it was beautiful at the same time <3

  • Incredible great

  • to tears

  • @19Turkishstyle92 The old man is flashing back to his first crush visiting that kid every time the ball was thrown over the fence so he'd have a reason to see him. And then one day the kid wasn't there instead it was the kids father, in the part where he's on the ground in the corner you can kinda see the bruises on him which tell the kids father beat him. Flashing back to the present the little girl tying his shoe and then seeing the two men together showed him of what his life could of been.

  • i love this. i wish that there were more videos like this out there for LGBT kids to turn to. seeing that family, it made my day and gives me hope for the future.

  • **SPOILER**

Amazing! Never gone from happy, to sad, to angry, to happy again in 3 minutes before! Happy, cause you clearly see they're in love! Then sad, when the boy is gone. Then angry, when you see the father of the missing boy standing with a belt, and you realise he has beaten his son to death (At least, that's what i think), then happy again when you see the loving family.

  • That was beautiful!

  • Oooooooh! Now I get it.

  • Sooooooooo.... they were friends?

  • Hey! It's that kid that played that autistic kid on house! Not the one he treated, though. The one that came to visit the woman.

  • Sometimes the open mind is the key to the world we know. Think about it.

  • really really liked!!

  • awwwwwwwww!

  • it`s so beautiful! i loved it very much...brilliant work!

  • so wonderful video... i loved.... heheheh....

  • I'm a little confused... can someone explain? :/

  • This is beautiful. Really. Excellent work.

  • thums up!!!!

  • This is brilliant! It says so much, so simply, and with such enormous impact.

  • Awwwww!

  • I dont get what this vid is for.....is it an actual movie? is the trailer it homemade? Because it looks professionally made and the only "closet" movie I know is the french comedy one that we're gonna watch for out french class.

  • I dont get it.... well did the the closet kid get killed like can someone explain it to me

  • What a terrific short film, a simple ball thrown over a fence to invoke such memories. It was perfectly done the end made the point even better.

  • es buenisimo este corto!! hasta me dieron ganas de llorar por un momento

  • Breathtaking!

  • that was so brilliant. And I dont say that lightly. I truly, honestly loved it.

  • i love this video let me just say that it says the truth. for one 95 percent of all foster care parents in the usa dont give a damn about the kids. and these are the straight parents im talking about. im gay so what. in fact straight foster parents are abusing and killing more kids than gay people(and thats if any gay do).once again i love this video.

  • Herk, CLOSET ANGEL would be a more fitting name for this film... : P

  • awww!!!

  • @whocaresyoucare f**k of u f**king d**k head i dont think any of us give a shit wat u f**king think

  • The last boy looks EXACTLY like Alex Wolff of The Naked Brothers Band. Are you sure he isn't using another name in this movie? lol

  • :`(

    but :) in the end

  • I once saw a highway sign on the opposite side that said "WRONG WAY TURN BACK"

  • I am a faithful christian and have researched this topic more than most ever will and I can say that homosexuality is NOT a sin. at one point in time it was "detestable" under mosiac law. but so was wearing clothes made of two different threads. those days have long since passed. I"m not asking you to believe me I just believe the truth should be said. if you dont, plz read this article on the matter before casting my words aside. soulforce (dot)org go to resources tab, first article

  • aww chute

  • Beautiful!! Simply.....beautiful!!!

  • wonderful i liked wideo. full of fiction Never forget to life...

  • i sincerely apologize to those i may have hurt with my words - and in all honesty you are right regarding the child - not in all cases does a child earn the same love and care from biological parents than from others who take up the responsibility of caring for the child. however i mainly wanted to stress the point regarding the unnatural way of life of a homosexual - they cannot themselves reproduce. ever.

  • @1ihavefaith

We all know gays can't reproduce. What if God made gays to help find homes to the children who need them.

  • @NealPratt God didnt make you gay - you chose to become gay. and im sure ofcourse that there are no other heterosexual individuals capable of providing loving caring homes thats why God decided to make homosexuals to provide these children with loving homes ... right :I

  • @1ihavefaith

There is a shortage of available, loving, willing foster parents in stable, heterosexual homes. That's the truth, whether you like it or not. I am also a christian, born again through my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. I am also a homosexual. You may think I can never truly reconcile the two. You are wrong. After considerable confusion and prayer, I can honestly say that God has absolutely nothing wrong with homosexuals :) My love goes out to all my brothers and sisters. Have Faith.

  • all good art does have a way of affecting people - much like music - much like drugs - a possessive quality realy- this clip so deeply moved some of us because its good art - but is it in fact a realistic approach to life? questionable..a temporary benefit that fades away leaving the person empty inside and in turn desiring more

never will this unnatural way of life fulfill a person - perhaps temporarily but not eternally

in the end the child was not 'theirs' she never will be...

  • @1ihavefaith so in you opinion, a child is only then truly "yours", when you give birth to him/her ?! And all the love and care that someone is giving to a child don't really matter ? Everything that matters are the "genes" , even in the case where the biological parents are anything but real "caretakers" and "love-givers" for that child, when they mistreat or hurt him/her ?

Because, i, personally , really can't agree with you there .

  • @1ihavefaith

I don't even have a child, adopted or natural, and your comment hurt. The love for a child is what makes you their parent, not the genes in them.

  • @1ihavefaith what you are full of is not faith.

    Your ignorance is unbounded.

  • @philipem01 you are quite right i dont have faith. atleast not in everything because if i did then my faith would be void of logic, my faith is only for what i am certain is the truth. homosexuality is not the truth to me, not gene determines homosexuality but nature proves otherwise - Godscreationismiraculous in its reproductive capability- and to me that makes sense and all thegenerationspastcanwitnessto that. forgive me for sounding harsh i know that no person chooses this way for no reason

  • @1ihavefaith Humans are not homosexuals by nature. People become homosexuals because of their environments. Particularly criticalthe environment during puberty. Suggestions, ideas&strange dreams aresymptomsofconfusedattempts tounderstand new and blunt sexual desiresand are rashlyinterpreted as defining one as being one sexuality or anotherIf these conclusions are accompanied by actual homosexual acts they arestronglyreinforced.itsachoiceof identitywhichfollowsfromwhatyouletyourself fantasizeabout

  • Love is love.

  • @1ihavefaith you are polution

  • I love it! :)))

  • something I just noticed, the little girls name is hope :)

  • omg. im such a frikkin emotional wreck lmao! This just made me cry for some odd reason. its beautifull <3

  • assuming the kids were gay? they were just playmates and the father was obviously abusive. Shouldnt label kids like that

  • @Beroean30 Why do you say that? haven't you ever had your first crush as a kid? that was their first crush, they were gay other wise if they were 'playmates' why would the dad of been so mad to have them play together. Re-watch the video.

  • In his day it was different, very different. Men like him had to stay closeted sometimes for life. G

  • I wish my closet was like that.

  • I got goosebumps after watching this! So beautiful. So true.

  • WOW THIS WAS POWERFUL

  • beautiful

  • because i am christian i am against homosexuality but because i am christian i love them all the same! this was a wonderful short film! i really enjoyed this!

  • Gays are the darlings of the media, so this sort of film is emblematic of our times and not controversial.

About half way through the film, we see a white man playing the 'bad guy'. Then a young female represents our hope for the future. This is in keeping with stereotypes promoted by feminism and that are the pillars of media gender portrayal today.

It is a very safe film that is well within the cultural norms of our times.

  • @proudguy you do have a point

  • awwe

  • Wow. That was quite beautiful.

  • A very sweet clip.

  • fantastic

  • so touching

  • made me cry.

  • Your short was wonderful and very well developed. The premise, actors, music, and composition was entrancing. You have a fine career ahead of you!

  • when I saw the other man come out I was like "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

and then I kinda cried a little cause it was so cute. much <3

  • that was great!

  • Just wonderful piece of art. Thank you, really.

  • Very nice. You are talented

  • Spectacular

  • beautiful.

and i love the fact that the girl's name is hope :)

  • SIMPLY AMAZING

  • I Liked this video a lot . It is very real, dramatic, excited.... It´S AMAZING

  • ما فهمت كل شيء ممكن واحد يفهمني

  • I don't get it...

  • Aww, this was very touching. You're an amazing storyteller. Beautiful work.

  • Beautiful.

  • Really nice little short. Very interesting.

  • congratulation for this video.. its GREAT

  • Wow ! your film is fantastic so strong !! it perfectly showa where the world is going and i think we are ready to let the past in the past and move forward !! thank you for showing me this !!

  • Well made video but the two young boys in the house are pre - pubescent and its hard to rationalize their ages with concepts of love and sexuality. This renders the film conceited, preachy and a little bit off.Otherwise its very good.A lot of people will hate me for not loving it 100 %...

  • @justcallmeassinine kids get crushes on other kids, actually, so the idea of two gay boys having a crush on each other is perfectly reasonable. And "conceited"? I'm not sure how you get that at all.

  • @FEnM The boys look as if they are pre-pubescent. Behaviourists agree that most sexual behaviour is learned. Its reasonable to have a crush at that age,ok..but what does "crush" mean exactly ? The implication here is that these boys possess a sexual desire for one another at an age where most children are not yet masturbating. Thus the film is ponderous, heavy, and preachy....but very much in tune with the times,so its a guaranteed winner. In that sense, yes I find it conceited,I really do.

  • emazingly beatiful!!!!!!! i saw it and send it to all my friends

  • what program did u use to make that

  • ok so im an airhead i didnt get it at first i understand now....i love this video...it just doesnt jump out and say it but you get it

  • Very nice Video Congrutalations

  • This is by far one of the best videos I've ever seen! Awesome job! The whole idea is sad though, about the lost chances.

  • beautiful film, i think it was a very well put together short film and being as it's only 3;27 minutes long, it's such a beautiful pic.

  • Beautiful film!

  • This view point is particularly American since only in America is there still remnants of the evils of Puritanical values. I have since visited many countries where such things as 2 boys in love is not a big deal. Europeans, Asians, even Pacific Islanders, handle these things so much better than the American religionists. Lovely, bittersweet film, which, BTW, more or less describes my life. Liberation came a bit too late. Though still, for some in small towns, it never came at all.

  • quand il était petit il était amoureux d'un garçon, mais on l'a empêché de le voir, on l'a battu. mais une fois âgé, il voit des personnes des de même sexe avec un enfant, pouvant vivre au grand jour. C'est cela?

When he was small he was in love with a boy, but we prevented him from seeing him, beat him. But once old, he sees people of the same sex with a child, which could live in broad daylight. It is it?

  • So amazing...

  • It's so amazing... I am so thankful for this video...

  • im not gay but i just cant stop waching these vids

  • This was beautiful. Thank you for creating such a beautiful film...

  • Very very nice video!

  • Yes, it works, and can work on several levels which takes it from being good to brilliant.

  • cool, liked it

  • This was so beautiful.

It kind of made me want to cry, but I had to smile at the end. Aw.

Talk about bittersweet. So, so lovely.

  • Wow......that was.. :ooooooooo stunning.

  • I agree with Drew7321 on the meaning of this film, about how society has become more accepting of homosexuality. But I also belive that a lot of people are taking that progress and pushing it in the opposite direction. It's unfortunate how closed
