Just 'cause you don't like a certain celebrity doesn't mean they or their relatives can't be good voice actors.

Don't let prejudice get in the way and automatically make you think someone with pre-existing Disney connections will make for a bad actor.

Or that all dubs are horrible in general.

Voices sound good to me from the trailer.

I think Disney did great with Spirited Away. They're even really good with dubbing their own movies into different languages.

Throw Hollywood A-Listers and Spell Miyazakis name wrong, change the original Japanese music into Enlgish and throw Walt Disney on it then you have a recipe for rip off and unoriginal. don't worry, Disney's dubbing for Hayao Miyazaki works are always superb. They always hire good literary writers and translators to make sure to retain the story's real meaning (but sometimes they tend to add more expression). Just like what they did to Princess Mononoke. They hired the critically acclaimed Neil Geiman to do the script...and tadah you have a wonderful english sub!

Besides, Miyazaki would also want his works to be recognized to many people in many different countries LEGALLY and not get know because of illegal downloads. And you can't call disney unoriginal since they didnt copy anything from the film to produce a work of their own...they're just simply distributing it to America with the permission and right of Miyazaki.

The original version with subtitles was wonderful, and I usually prefer subtitles all around simply because you don't mishear anything. I will see this though, as I am a big fan of Tina Fey and Disney usually does a better job with bringing Miyazaki's movies to Americans than it does with creating their own shit.

I just hope they don't change anything. From the trailer it seems like it will be slightly less light hearted for some reason.
