But Hamas states that it recognizes the pre-1967 borders. The borders with who? China? It joined with the Palestine Liberation Organization, to form a single political entity. Why not go all the way, like the Palestine Liberation Organization, and recognize the State of Israel. Doing so will help free the 1.5 million citizens of Gaza from severe poverty and high unemployment. Economic interaction with Israel is the only answer. Go back to the original idea of partitioning Palestine.
