I got passed on my third attempt. Luckily, my wife could come with me & use the guilt of having to get a license to drive my car for our son. I thought I got failed again, but not this time. The worst part of getting failed the first two times was that I left the testing center, got in the car that I've had for 10 months, & DROVE home. That's right, the Japanese government told me that I wasn't safe enough to operate a car on the roads here & I got into my car and drove home on my IDL. SCAM!

Yes. Japanese DMVs are worse than hell. I failed today because I apparently turned the steering wheel too fast. What the fuck does that even mean?

When you make a right turn at the intersection, your car's left front wheel must be less than 2 metre from the centre of the intersection.

If you don't, it's automatic 5 points deduction.

Also there is another -5 points for not aligning your car to the center line before entering the intersection.

That's because when your wheels are not straight and get involved in rear end collision, your car will glide towards on-coming traffic or possibly the pedestrians nearby.
